Stage 1: The Qualifier Event
The first part of each Championship Tournament is a week-long qualifier event (the "Qualifier Event"). Entrants may enter the Qualifier Event as many times as they would like by paying an entry fee each time they play. The goal of the Qualifier Event is to score as high as possible in the featured game to earn a top spot on the Qualifier Event leaderboard. When the Championship Tournament closes at the end of a week, the 32 highest-scoring players will advance to the second stage of the Championship Tournament (each, a "Finalist"). Entrants that do not make it into one of the top 32 places on the leaderboard will be eliminated and will not participate any further. There are no prizes awarded for the Qualifier Event - just the opportunity to advance to the second stage of the Championship Tournament.
Stage 2: The Finals
The second stage of a Championship Tournament consists of five rounds (each, a "Round") of one-on-one playoff games that are played by the Finalists over a period of five days. In each Round, Finalists are paired up with an opponent based on their final positions (seed) in the Qualifier Event. Each pair of Finalists then has 23 hours to play three one-on-one challenges against each other. The Finalist who wins two out of three of those challenges will be declared the winner of the Round and will go on to compete the next day. Once a Finalist loses a Round, he or she will be eliminated. 16 Finalists will be eliminated in Round 1, 8 Finalists will be eliminated in Round 2, 4 Finalists will be eliminated in Round 3, 2 Finalists will be eliminated in Round 4, and 1 Finalist will be eliminated in Round 5. At the end of Round 5, the sole remaining Finalist will be deemed Champion for that year and win the grand prize as more fully set forth below.
| 1.1 | Participation is only available to WorldWinner.com Members. To become a WorldWinner.com Member, go to www.worldwinner.com (the "Website"), submit the information requested on the page, and select a username and password. All WorldWinner.com Terms & Conditions apply. |
| 1.2 | There is an entry fee for each entry into the Qualifier Event. The amount of the fee will be displayed on the Website tournament selection page and on the Championship Tournament registration page. |
| 1.3 | Entry fees are deducted from players' Website account balances at the time that each entry is made and are non-refundable. |
| 1.4 | For each entry fee paid, the participant will receive one entry into the Qualifier Event. Participants may enter as many times as they want as long as all entries are completed before the Qualifier Event ends. |
| 1.5 | The Qualifier Event lasts for seven days. No further entries can be made once the Qualifier Event has ended. |
| 1.6 | When the Qualifier Event ends, the top 32 players on the leaderboard will advance to the Finals. Players in places 33 and below will be eliminated from the competition at that time. |
| 1.7 | There are no ties permitted in the Qualifier Event. If multiple players achieve the same score on the leaderboard, the higher position will be awarded to whoever achieved the score first. The second highest position will go to whoever achieved the score second, and so on. |
| 1.8 | There are no prizes awarded for the Qualifier Event other than the 32 entries into the Finals. |
| 1.9 | The 32 entrants who advance to the Finals will each be assigned a seed based on their position on the leaderboard. The first place Finalist will receive a seed of 1, the second place Finalist will receive a seed of 2, and so on. |
| 2.1 | No one may participate in the Finals except for the 32 Finalists who advanced onward from the Qualifier Event. |
| 2.2 | There are no entry fees for any of the Finals games. |
| 2.3 | The Finals will begin within 24 hours after the end of the Qualifier Event. Bracket pairings for the Finals will be posted to the Championship Tournament display on the day before the Finals begin. |
| 2.4 | Pairings for the first Round of the Finals are based on Finalists' seed. The first ranked Finalist, (the player with a seed of 1) will be paired with the last ranked Finalist (the player with a seed of 32). The second ranked Finalist will be paired with the second-to-last ranked Finalist, and so on. This means that Round 1, Pairing 1 will consist of the #1-seeded Finalist versus the #32-seeded Finalist. The second pairing in Round 1 will consist of the #2-seeded Finalist versus the #31-seeded Finalist, and so on down through the 16th pair in Round 1, which consists of the #16-seeded Finalist versus the #17-seed Finalist. |
| 2.5 | In Rounds 2 – 5, pairings are based on the outcomes of the previous Rounds. In Round 2, the first pairing will consist of the winner of the first Round's 1st pair versus the winner of the first Round's 16th pair. This pairing process continues all the way through the final Round. |
| 2.6 | The Finals take place over the course of five days. On each day, each of the Finalists who are still in the Championship Tournament will have three one-on-one challenges available to them versus their assigned opponent, and they will then be given 23 hours in which to finish all three challenges. After the 23 hours are over, any unplayed challenge games will receive a score of zero. |
| 2.7 | As each challenge is finished, it will be tallied for each Finalist as a win, a loss, or a tie. Once all three challenges have ended (regardless of whether they are played or not), the Finalist with the most wins advances to the next Round, and the other Finalist is eliminated. |
| 2.8 | If the two Finalists have the same number of wins in the Round, then the Finalist with the lower seed (lower seed numbers being the better performers) advances on to the next Round. The Finalist with the higher seed is eliminated from the Championship Tournament. |
| 2.9 | Each Round results in half of the remaining Finalists being eliminated (sixteen in Round 1, eight in Round 2, and so on). Eliminated Finalists will be placed on the Championship Tournament leaderboard in the following manner:
|
| 2.10 | Finalists who are all eliminated during the same Round will be positioned on the Championship Tournament leaderboard based on their seed, ordered from lowest to highest seed number. This means that at the end of Round 1, the Finalist with the lowest seed goes onto the leaderboard in 17th place, the Finalist with the second lowest seed goes in 18th place, and so on. |
| 2.11 | All Finals games are played at the Finalist's own risk. Sponsor's Player Services will not be able to change the results of a Round if a Finalist experiences technical difficulties or a game disconnect. It is the Finalist's responsibility to ensure that his or her computer is in proper working order before participating. |
| 2.12 | The Championship Tournament ends after Round 5 with the winner of Round 5 going into position 1 on the Championship Tournament leaderboard. |
| 2.13 | Prizes are awarded after the Championship Tournament ends and are assigned based on the final Championship Tournament leaderboard standings. All 32 Finalists will receive prizes as set forth on the Championship Tournament registration page. |
| 2.14 | The Grand Prize winner will receive the title of Champion for that particular game and year (for example, 2009 Solitaire Rush Champion). A virtual trophy reflecting this title will be placed in the winner's WorldWinner.com trophy case. |

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate a Championship Tournament if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Championship Tournament is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor's control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Championship Tournament as contemplated herein. In the event Sponsor is prevented from awarding Prizes or continuing with the Championship Tournament as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health or other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis (e.g. SARS), order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor's control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Championship Tournament.
