He didn't divorce her because they were never married. They were just dating briefly and I guess in the end things did not work out (it happens).

I was off work for 3 days last week, and I tuned in to Dawson's Feud just to fill my time, and I noticed that the announcer was a lot different. Was that Johnny Gilbert (of Jeopardy! fame) at the mic instead of Gene Wood during the last 3 episodes as of this post?

Yes. This was when Gene Wood was recuperating from an injury involving garden shears IIRC.

No way, you mean the "name something that can kill a lively party" episode? That's the one where Richard meets his wife? I had no idea!! I've been looking for that episode for eons, mostly because that's probably one of my all-time favorite bloopers. That's pretty cool.
