Anybody else incensed and insulted that they actually had the nerve to put up a buy-it-now $25.00 KeyBank gift card for 30,000 oodles AT THE SAME TIME that people were paying 250,000 oodles for $50.00 cards and 75,000 oodles for $10.00 cards in the Cyber Monday auctions? I saw it there and couldn't believe it. Of course, when I tried to buy it, it was gone because it was TWO MINUTES past the time it went up. Seriously. It was available for less than two minutes.

OFCOURSE, I bet alot of folks were freaked out about that... those bidding wars are getting crazy...but it's a way for GSN to get people to drop their OODLES on the table! I bet it wasn't 2 minutes more like seconds and it was gone...

I don't participate in sweepstakes. Would rather have gift cards in exchange for my oodles. I actually got a GSN card 2-3 years ago and have never used it because there is nothing offered I would want.

I am wondering if you have to spend a large amount of oodles to enter sweepstakes to win? Like for example if you only use 20 entries at 150 oodles to you have ANY CHANCE OF WINNING? I know i will never bid on anuthing seeing the amounts you have to bid in order to be in the running. "Thanks!!!

Well, of course your odds go up the more entries you have in the sweepstakes. But, really... it only takes one lucky entry to win. So personally, I wouldn't waste the oodles trying to "buy" a win in a sweepstakes... I think you'd just be disappointed. But, that's just me.

From all I've read there's no point in bidding for anything since the number of oodles it takes to win these is a number way beyond reach for most people. I am a "Buy It Now" person.

Agree with most post on here about buy it now. When you bid in silent auctions...it's unbelievable that you can bid your whole 300,000 oodles and not even have a chance to win a bid. It's made for the few people who were lucky enough to win a large amount of Oodles and they most likely win a mjority of the prizes. I mean for the guy who's used his computer time trying to build his oodles up for Buty it now like last year. Which I was lucky enough to get a 10 dollor gift card from Starbucks I believe. Your just not rewarded for being a loyal member of GSN. I do enjoy the games and will continue to play..>but not waste my oddles on bidding on anything anymore. Those are for the few high rollers as I stated.

On the sweepstakes, I think it is the luck of the draw. I bid about 15,000 oodles (quite a while back) on the $250 daily and won it.

I am also a buy it now person (except for the occasional daily sweepstakes) but they do not have anything worth spending my oodles on. Occasionally a book, but that is pretty much it.

May I suggest donating to the ACS with some of the oodles. It really helps in their research. This is what I do with some of mine. I don't have any ready cash to donate (We live on social security) and I really appreciated the help that ACS gave me. They help you in all things, giving some people help with their family being able to stay nearby, wigs, bras, anything that will make a person feel better about themselves during this stressful time in their lives.
    They are truly a blessing.

My husband and I spent almost all of our savings in my battle with cancer, but thankfully we were able to do that. I felt that there were others that could benefit. But, ACS did help me out with some of the things I needed, which was support during this time, sending me a lot of pamphlets of information on cancer, and they provided me with someone to talk to any time I was feeling down.

So, I ask any of you that do not want to spend your oodles on anything then please donate them. The American Cancer Society is great.

Just thought I'd resurrect this one last time. It's really getting discouraging... they now have BOARD GAMES up for auction instead of buy-it-now. The same game (Apples for Apples--is that it?) that you could get a few months ago is now an AUCTION. Very sad.

I rarely use sweepstakes, unless it's something short term like an hourly one. My first choice is "buy it now" (with better choices of purchases), then auctions, then the short-term sweeps (hourly or daily).

Last time I checked, they removed the "donate your oodles".
