Buy It Now, for sure, but Let's keep it reasonable!- costs too many Oodles for little gifts! Not so long ago, the GSN Tote Bag was 8,900 Oodles, now it costs 12,985! The magazines have also gone up, and almost 10,000 Oodles for lip balm, really? Outrageous!

gsn apparently had buy it now tvs when oodles started in 2009. now its like pch- magazines, magazines, magazines. is gsn broke? charge more for those commericals users are subjected to so there are more and different buy it nows.

Or just take all of the "expensive" auction gifts and break them down to $5.00 gift cards to Amazon.

On other "reward" sites I do, they always have gift cards available for me to buy whenever I have enough points or whatever.

I think it would be so much better to make a lot of people happy with useful, small gifts that we KNOW we could get, rather than just a few people who win the auctions---and probably aren't even really that thrilled about it with the amount of oodles needed to win them.

BRING back the way it used to be: BUY IT NOW ! USEFUL PRIZES... So EVERYONE can feel some kind of reward for their TIME & Wear & TEAR of their PCs!... GSN gets something out of us being here... and we need something too...... heck, I don't even bother voting in your Polls that ask about prizes on the auctions etc... as I know that it will NEVER be a concern to me... for the same reasons as everyone else has repeated here...

this thread was started almost a year ago and still nothing, nada, zip from GSN in response. I for one hardly come here anymore compared to what i used to. I do the daily and trivia questions that are there in the morning and get my spins. Maybe check in later for another trivia question and fill out bingo. I checked the boards today only to find this thread going live again. I wish everyone luck with getting GSN to react positively to this request and wanted to add my two cents in case it might be helpful. But for the most part I have chosen to spend my time on other reward sites that offer much more appealing and attainable prizes.

I do not like the play to win the sweepsteake or bid on things no matter i try try even if i bid high I don't get it so I want for buy it now gifts, sweepsteak or evens, or things like that If you can buy it now you get something but if you don't have a 500,000 or hight oodles you don't win it and don't have a chance. please give us more to buy. thanks

I prefer buy it now.

The problem with GSN now is that they have given away so many oodles. Oodles are becoming essentially worthless. When you log in you can see that GSN is giving out over 10 MILLION oodles a day. That makes you wonder how many unredeemed oodles are in player accounts. Has it reached a billion yet? They made it too easy to obtain oodles. That is why auctions are so high.

You are absolutely correct -- GSN created this mess so now it's up to them to try and fix it. People have made good suggestions but they are not taking us/them up o them. I would still like to see decent Buy It Nows even at ridiculously high oodles prices - at least we would be getting something for our efforts.

Exactly. Price them at whatever they want... but just make them *available* for us to get. Right now, the best value for oodles is the donations. There you get an equivalent of $1.00 = 1,000 oodles. Nowhere else is that even close.

In addition...I would like to see more 'tangible' prizes in the Buy-It-Now selection.
Coupons cost money, on top of Oodles...why not just offer the item itself?
The very few 'real' prizes rarely vary...so, no reason to buy it, NOW.
Magazine subscriptions would be more interesting if they could be sent as a gift.
The QuickPick(s) and ScratchTicket(s) just make it LOOK like there are a lot of prizes.
(I, personally, think they should be in the casino with the other gambling games.)

And . . . WHATS WRONG WITH A GOOD 'OL CASH-OUT ?!?!?
Even if only offered occasionally...or annually...

BUY IT NOW is my choice. I wouldn't mind if they had some type of cash payout bingo with our oodles. Maybe 50 oodles per bingo card, per play and maybe at least 4 games per day with a Jackpot of at least $100
