The new Steelers alternate uniforms are being shown today and I have to say... this is the UGLIEST uniform I have ever seen a football team wear.

    Photo here.

2012 NFL Schedule is out and about.

Manning and Broncos have very rough schedule to begin with.

Saints Vitt can't coach until week 8.

    Jones-Drew surprisingly skips Jaguars workouts.

Any guess to when Tebow will start for new team, the Jets.

And the sad thing is this wasn't the first time they brought those back. When the Steelers had their 60th season in '92, they brought back a similar looking uniform. I honestly thought you were going to make a joke about Big Ben wearing that in jail or Hines Ward, and if not, I'd give it to you in self-deprecation. Link to sample of aforementioned garb.

But yes, it's ugly. I would have liked them to bring back the block numbers instead from 1970-96 or the infamous "Batman" jerseys of the Sixties before they brought this back. And thank God they're only going to wear them for one or two games.

The socks look as though they are orange, not yellow. And I do hope that the Steelers don't wear that outfit on October 7th, in case I accidentally turn on the game. (Yes, it's against the Eagles.)

Honestly, Steve-o. The "He's in prison" was the first thought that came to mind. The second was that they looked like a bunch of bumblebees.
