My single biggest complaint about the new show... Oh, I'm OK with Engvall, and don't even mind the risque clues, but these contestants (so far) have just been nitwits, more suitable for the Jerry Springer talk show than playing Lingo...

Aside from two of them, apparently.

    Might be the exception though....

you know those contestants might of acted less smart than they were knowing gsn's picking for contestants, then when the game came cleaned up.
    viacom sucks

They need to find somebody with a new calculator at the very least (watch during the reading of the rules to Bonus Lingo on Thursday's episode).

And what's up with the bonus letter? It comes and goes between episodes (unless there's some aspect I'm missing)

From what I can see, opinions of this new Lingo are all across the board.

Things I like: Bill does a good job hosting, and the new graphics are really sleek. The prize balls are a great idea too.

Things I don't like: The clues and words venture into crude territory too often, and many of the contestants have the IQ of cheese danish. The DICKS round showed perfect examples of both.

It's watchable, but Chuck's version is the superior show.

They probably added that to later-taped episodes. Since these episodes are airing out of taping order, it's likely to keep coming and going.

At first I was mad that Chuck and Shandi weren't returning to Lingo, but I got over it and thought I'd give Bill a chance... Maybe Bill isn't the problem, but the amount of dirty/sexual jokes on the show now is ridiculous. The clues just scream, "This is supposed to make you think of sex." Examples include, "Donald Trump has a big one." and "He likes a big one between his legs.". The worst occurrence was in the first episode when the clue was "always comes in the end", and the two contestants shouted, "D*CKS!". I thought The Newlywed Game and Baggage were dirty enough, and now they do this. I'd be fine with Bill being the new host if the host was the only change. Yeah Chuck and Shandi were great, but a host change alone can't be that disastrous. I'm wondering how the ratings will be for this. Honestly I'm only watching it because it's Lingo and I can still play along, but I probably won't be able to take much more of this. I guess I'd better watch as many of the Chuck/Shandi episodes before they take them from me.

The show isn't bad. The awkward flirting between Chuck and Shandi (as well as the way they routinely ignore or make fun of the contestants) enhanced the original version, but Bill's version was much better than Chuck's solo performance. I didn't like the clues at first but after watching a few episodes, the clues make the show interesting.

The new show is boring and offensive. The host is terrible and the new format is just dumb. We don't need immature and obscene humor on what was once a great show for the family. I loved the old Lingo with CW but this is one show I will no longer be watching on GSN.

Another thing that I think is great about this reincarnation is that Bill brings a lot of excitement to the show. The addition of an audience really adds to it and the combination of the two are nice. I hope we get to see some more $100,000 winners, too.

The new Lingo was okay, in my opinion. It's not the worst that GSN has aired, but it's not something I'll tune in for or watch on a regular basis.
I like the setup, and the host is okay, but Chuck and Shandi were irreplacable. I liked how you can see the audience in the background. In the old Lingo, we never saw the audience, if there was one. Like others said, the contestants are a little boring.
I think that I liked the concept of the contestants getting the balls out of the hopper better though, not pulling them down off the rack.
It's not exactly a family show anymore. The Lingo with Chuck and Shandi would be something you could watch with your children, but I don't think that the new Lingo would be.
At least it's an actual game show, though.

If anyone really thinks this show is funny he/she is stuck in his/her teens when you already laughed if someone just mentioned the word 'dick'. The new lingo is a crap show obviously aimed at brainless, 13 y/o pubers. I don't want shouting, dancing, singing, over-reacting audiences or childish, senseless humor on my gameshow. I want a good concept with smart contestants, and a nice host, in other words: Chuck & Shandy Lingo. I am just grateful chuck is still on at 12. I gave the new lingo a try but I was disgusted at this trash I couldn't possibly watch a second episode.

Lord...get over it already. Chuck and Shandi are GONE. Much as I don't care for the sophomoric clues, this is the demo GSN is after nowadays (or haven't you noticed the rest of the schedule)

Bad move for GSN. Bring back Chuck & Shandi. New show is BORING.

They wasted close to FIVE seconds for the reveal of that next to last word (tonight). What's up with that?

That's a sign for the degeneration of American society.
