500 Oodles Mega Game - Oodles Haiku 6/14 (ended, 10 winners)

The Oodles Team suggested a neat game idea. Let's do Oodle haikus! A haiku generally consists of a three-line stanza that has a total of 17 syllables, written in the following pattern:

    Example haiku

    Shine golden Oodle
Your glow reflects in my eyes
    Love to play for you

    Breakdown of the syllables

    Line 1 Shine gol/den Oo/dle - 5 syllables:
Line 2 Your glow re/flects in my eyes - 7 syllables:
Line 3 Love to play for you - 5 syllables:

The classic haiku theme is nature and many traditional Japanese haiku reflect that with descriptive seasonal words or images. I understand there's more to this wonderful art but for our purposes, we'll keep it simple and just follow the 5/7/5 syllable pattern. If you need a little help, check this site out. Time for some creative fun!

Rules: You have until 6pm ET on Wed 6/15 to post. We'll select our favorite top 10 haiku's to win 500 Oodles each. Please post only once. Do not comment on other posts until after winners are announced. Obey forum rules.

If you're on Twitter, be sure to retweet game announcements for a chance at 50-100 Oodles!

    Oh, great G.S.N....

I'll play until my brain hurts

    For one more Oodle!

p.s. Don't you mean 6/14 for the date posted above (rather than 5/14? Same for the date we have to post until... you wrote 5/15 when you mean 6/15) here's another haiku for the error:

    Angel's excited!
    The Haiku thread is started
    She forgot it's June!

    (LOL!! Angel note) :P
