Some rules? Okay. Look for some changes in rules:
1. Five votes will eliminate a host, but I will add one for every two divisions that we advance until we get to 10 votes.
2. One vote per day only. I will try to update around 9 PST, if I update early, you're okay to vote again.
3. Any player who has voted correctly 7 or more times will be allowed to "Seek Revenge" ONE time on behalf of a host. You know how this works. You may bring back any of the last six hosts that have been eliminated, but only within three days of the elimination. No player or host may seek revenge more than once.
4. You may vote for a host up to seven times, but may not vote someone off by yourself, you also may not vote for a host four days in a row or 5 times in six days. If a host has "sought revenge", then you may vote up to seven more times for that host, but these rules will still apply.
5. The "Sudden Death" option works the opposite of Seek Revenge. You state that you want a host to face sudden death and everyone votes the next day on whether or not s/he is eliminated. Majority rules, and a 50-50 tie will always go in favor of the host. If a host is brought back, then he or she MUST be voted off the old-fashioned way. Please no more than 3 sudden deaths at a time.
6. Sudden Death Appeal! If a host has survived Sudden Death, you may nominate them a 2nd time if you wish. This works the same way as Sudden Death, however, because it IS the 2nd time a host has faced this, a 2/3 Majority (66.67%) vote is required to eliminate a host on appeal. If a host survives the appeal, they MUST be voted off the hard way. May NOT be used after a Seek Revenge.
7. Freeze Frame can be used up to 2 times on any host (and only two times, even if someone has sought revenge unless Cancellation awards a bonus). Works for 3 days, and a host can't be voted for. A freeze frame takes effect the minute someone uses it, but cannot be used if a host is facing or nominated for Sudden Death. Freeze Frames do not stack. No freeze frames may be used if there are not at least 5 hosts left to vote for. Attempting to use a Freeze Frame on a voteless host or a host that has not had a vote in 5 days will result in abuse. (See rule 13)
8. BRE\-/K DOWN! can be used one time per host. When used, this will allow four votes to be subtracted from the host's total (but not less than zero). This may be used in conjunction with or during a freeze frame, but does not affect Sudden Death voting. May be used a second time if a host has sought revenge.
9. 10-spot. You nominate a host for the 10-spot the same way you nominate a host for Sudden Death -- the next day everyone votes on whether or not that host will require 10 votes to be eliminated or not. If the majority of people agree, then a host will require 10 votes to be eliminated. 10-spot can be used with any other feature, except that you cannot nominate a host for Sudden Death and the 10-spot on the same day. A host protected by 10-spot can still be nominated for Sudden Death. Please no more than 3 10-spot nominations in a day. Also, no more than 6 hosts can be protected at any time by the 10-spot.
10. +/- (plus-minus): This feature will add two votes to a host's tally while subtracting two votes from another host's tally (cannot put a host below zero or over the vote off point), hence the name. You may use one plus and one minus per host, but you may NOT cancel a +/- with another +/-. +/- may not be combined with a regular or Triple Threat vote.
11. Cancellation! If you feel a host is being picked on unfairly (way too early Sudden Death nod, excessive votes early in the game, etc.) you may use Cancellation as a last resort. The following day, a panel of 3 people -- Neko, Mandy and Shelly will decide if abuse has taken place. If 2 out of the 3 agree, then Cancellation will take effect and the group may take one of three actions: Automatically validate Sudden Death (appeal still possible), a bonus Freeze Frame or an extra BRE\-/K DOWN! If all three people agree, then True Cancellation will take effect, and three things will happen:
1. Sudden Death will be automatically validated (no appeal)
2. All Freeze Frames and BRE\-/K DOWNs! will count double
3. The host will require 21 votes to be eliminated.
Be careful! A player may only use 2 cancellations per game, and if the panel unanimously decides no abuse has taken place, they may opt to award a penalty warning or strike for delay of game if blatant abuse of this feature is evident! A host protected by Cancellation may NOT be nominated again in the hopes of getting True Cancellation. Only two hosts may be protected by TC at any time and only four in the game may be protected by this awesome defense. This feature will NOT be allowed in the top 3 divisions of the game!
12. LEGAL DISCLAIMER! This game is a parody. There is no intent to demean, insult or malign anyone, past or present, involved in any way, shape, or form with game shows.
13. Any attempt to abuse the features, such as burning freeze frames will result in a double whammy against the player. An automatic penalty of one strike (no exceptions) will be awarded and in more severe cases, an extra Freeze Frame may be given up to a maximum of 5.
14. LIMBO! A host that "bounces" three times between the Masters and the ToL, will be put into "limbo". There, they cannot be in either tournament and will stay in limbo to prevent further bouncing. The first time a host enters limbo, they cannot leave until seven other hosts have been inducted. On a second and subsequent trip, they cannot leave until thirteen other hosts have entered.
15. Punishment Time, Bonus Vote Day, Triple Vote Day, Triple-Double[/b] and Triple Threat may be called at any time. Check status updates when one of these appears.
16. MISCONDUCT! if a player is doing something suspicious but isn't breaking a specific rule of the game, you can call for Misconduct on a player. The next day, a panel of five people and two alternates (Neko, Mandy, Shelly, and the two Nates) will determine if abuse is taking place. The alternates (TPIRRules and Phimat37) will be used if a panelist is nominated or nominates someone. Depending on the number of people who agree, penalties will be assessed. If three out of the five panelists agree on a punishment, it will be enforced. If three of you cannot agree, I will break the tie. You can only use this ONCE per game.
5-0 or 4-1: Minor Misconduct (1/2 a strike), Misconduct (1 strike) or Severe Misconduct (3 strikes)
3-2: Minor Misconduct or Misconduct ONLY.
2-3 or 1-4: No penalty.
0-5: May assess a 1-strike penalty on the nominator for delay of game.
That's it! Everyone may NOW vote for today!
Vote: Donny Osmond.
