I would like to see one of the GSN Game shows on DVD offered that would be equal or close to the price of it if you were to buy it yourself. At that price it may be a bargain but would be a good incentive and also promote the games on GSN. I'd like to have a home version of one of the games to play at home with my family when they came to play. One I'd like to have would be Family Feud which is one of my favorites or Lingo! Maybe their value is higher than that amount given but wow what a good gesture for all of us loyal GSN fans!

I would recommend a "$50.00 (or less if necessary) Visa/Mastercard Gift Card." It's my understanding that the "new ones have no attached fees." This type of Gift Card gives a "potential winner" the ability to purchase "ANY goods/services" at ANY "location nationwide...that accepts Visa/Mastercard." Thereby "increasing the amount of options available to a potential winner...versus being 'locked-in' to any one particular Item/Restaurant/Retail Chain Gift Card." (This option gives someone the ability "to buy something he/she truly wants and/or can really use.")

Great Question and perfect timing for me. Recently we had our neighbors, and their three wonderful girls, over for dinner. Before, during and after dinner, all the girls talked about, was all the kewl new movies playing or coming out soon. With the economy as bad as it is, I know their parents, and sure many other parents, can't ill afford to splurge to take their children to the movies. What better item to auction off, that would allow families to do something special as a family, then $30, $40 or $50 movie gift cards. GSN offers them as prizes for people who get on live, why not auction them off too. If you have auctioned them off and I missed them. I suggest that ya'll auction more of them off.

I believe the gift cards are way overrated (that is, it's tougher for the Oodler to get a good price per prize); a realistic gift would be an "opportunity to be a TV game show contestant" for an auction. Granted, it may be valued more than $50, depending on the Oodler's gaming skills, the show, and the jackpot. Since the payout is unknown, the $50 could be a guaranteed "dinner with a current game show host".
