I'm just wondering if there's any new updates on when GSN will bring Lingo Plus back to its site. There are hundreds of people still waiting to enjoy their once favorite game again. Seeing that GSN now only has probably a maximum of 50 people at once on its site, Lingo Plus would be a great way to attract more people back to GSN! Guide Angel, please reply with answer or at least pass this on if there isn't any recent news!

The preceding quotation was straight from GuideAngel a few months back. Now, 2012 is quickly arriving in a couple of days. I, along with many others, would like to know if the statement still holds true. Will Lingo Plus return to GSN sometime during the first half of 2012? Is there an estimated date that it will indeed return?

The whole "we don't own lingo plus" thing is impossible to debunk... however it rings quite bogus to me. I mean... it was designed for gsn.com... and lingo as a game - the many incantations - is synonymous with the site. So to ask players to believe that a giant like gsn can't use lingoplus on their site anymore... I mean... um... ok. If gsn listened at all to their players feedback... lingoplus would be back up on the site and wouldn't be taken down again with more dubious reasons.
sigh... big eye roll... whatever.

I know this has been asked multiple times, but I thought I'd give it one more shot. Now that we're well into 2012, are there any more updates on a multiplayer Lingo game resurfacing. I know I speak for many of the old time Lingo players, and there's nothing more we'd rather see than this great game reemerge. The increase in player traffic GSN would receive would be astronomical, considering so many no longer come to this site solely because this game is gone.

the folks at gsn must be very busy with matters of tokens oodles and worldwinner cash games... so much so that they seem to overlook a HUGE factor in their current success was the little beta game that could ... lingoplus... which has never been replaced with any kind of viable multiplayer lingo game... except for like 1 week several years ago when they put something up that didn't work properly...
so frustrating...
angel... could you actually make an inquiry on account of the hundreds of players that are lurking despite only a few that speak on these forums? i as many others are confused by gsn's lack of attention to this matter when they serve to benefit greatly from a move forward towards restoration of some kind of multi player lingo...
the nonsense about not having rights is silly as that was obviously restored when lingo came back to tv and this site... and i know from dave andrews himself that lingoplus itself was a beta testing game that simply took off unexpectedly.
so please... in the interest of this site and it's greater success in the future... please look into it even if you have before. would make a lot of people happy

I am very offended by the fact that I have posted numerous times on here asking for a reply by Guide Angel, and I have had no luck whatsoever. Then, another person comes along, and asks pretty much the same thing, and GuideAngel replies 3 minutes after the person's post. I'm not loved!!

I am very sorry that you feel this way, but we do not have a "guide angel" We do have a GSNAngel and she is an angel and she will get back to you. You can always send her a private message through the notifications at the top of the page. She has been off for the last few days, taking a much needed break.
If you were posting your message to guide angel, I am sure she did not realize you meant GSNAngel, so try again.

I think this site was much more user friendly 8-9 years ago, and lingo plus would definitely bring my attention back to this site. The whole concept of "oodles" is ridiculous. Bring back the multi player games!
Why can't there be both oodles AND multi-player games? I don't understand why one would preclude the other.
By the way, oodles have certainly lost some of their luster, but they were not ridiculous by any means. At one time, GSN had one of the best rewards programs on the Net. People redeemed their oodles for TVs and other large prizes. I myself have received many great things over the years. It's just in the past year or so that it's really started to fall off and you must get the prizes through auctions and sweepstakes that not many people can win.
