I do very well until the bonus round. All I ever get are three words, using all the above advice. Anyone have any help. How about Lingo balls for numbers,
is there a trick to picking the correct lingo balls during the bonus round?
Does anyone know why Lingo isn't offered as a Cash Game? I think it would be excellent and be extremely popular!
All of the advice here is excellent!! I was going to come on this thread and write some of these things but it looks like a lot of it is already covered. The only thing I can think of to add is: If you are drawing a blank or are "stumped" (as I'm sure happens to all of us), don't get stuck on the fact that the word starts with a certain letter. Sometimes my brain totally checks out when I get a "C" (for example), so I try to weed out some of the letters by using words like TEACH or STORK or UNTIL or ABOUT. This way you can see if and possibly where other vowels in the word are, and hopefully pick up a consenant or two. Typically I only do it if I am drawing a blank or stuck.
Also, this may seem like common sense but thought I would just add it here just in case...it really does make a difference if you have the TV off and the dogs/children away. I know this is not even possible at times but if you are getting pretty serious about playing LINGO, then it certainly helps with the distraction factor. (<--- factor would be a good word to use in a stump...haha so would stump..haha)
Can you make a thread for FlingShot tips and tricks?
If there isn't one already, you could make one! It's easy (and kind of fun)... just go to the "Free Games Discussion" section and I believe that there's a button to click that says "Start a New Thread". Then title it "FlingShot Tips and Tricks" and in the first message part just say you like the game and are looking to improve your score (or something like that).

It has saved me many times, although sometimes I run out of time. For example, I had TH__E, and I didn't get to "Y" in time to correctly guess THYME.
Lingo is my favorite game to play on here and I have a little hint to help everyone play the game,
When you play Lingo be sure to have a box of Scrabble Cheez-It crackers handy and spell the Lingo words and dig through the box till you find a letter that correctly fits in the word. Believe me I have done this and have gotten words right every time and you can say the Scrabble crackers are my ultimate good luck charm when I play Lingo,
P.S. You can also try this Lingo hint with Post Alpha-Bits cereal too and it will work like a charm
