Wink Are the Reward prizes "catch-free"?

call me a synic, but i am curious. I am trying to save up enough reward points to get the AM Express $200 gift card. I don't mind that it will take time, i just wanna know if anyone has ever chosen that prize or a similar one, and received it, just be simply playing games. I play the Free ones, so I don't know if they will try and make me choose some kind of "offer" when i finally save up the points. ALSO the daily sweeps? Catch free? any info would be great, i love the games, and will still play....but don't wanna get my hopes up. THANKS

I think you have to bid for it. Which means you could use all your oodles and end up with nothing. I have the same problem you do. I would like to purchase the gift card with my oodles but it is not for sale as far as I can see.

If you are talking about the prizes on the World Winner site, I'm doing the same thing. I'm sure I will have to switch from being a free player to a paying player to redeem the points. At the rate I'm going, it will be a long time before I find out.

@sharkandwhales please let me know if you can. you are right, I am talking about the $200 card you can recieve with 140,000 reward points (as free player)

I only have 35,000 points right now. I refuse to pay to play, so it will be a very long time until I get to 140,000. By then they probably will have changed the rewards or something. Still, it is fun to have a goal.

I am playing as a free player also. I am saving up for the AE Visa Card as well. However, as soon as I get close, I will have to put in some money to get it. i am planning on doing $5 and HOPING this works! $5 put in for $200 is worth it. If you look at your rewards on the world winner site, it makes it seems like you can get any of the prizes as long as you have enough reward points... however, it does say you have to be a cash competitor to redeem a prize!

do you get to keep your points or do you start over when you become a world winner member?

Read the fine print in the terms and conditions on the Worldwinner site. I think it is in Section 6.1. Yes, you have to be a cash player and players from certain states are restricted from playing for cash. Do not get your hopes up if you live in one of those states. If everyone tries to get a giftcard this way you would have to wonder where Worldwinner is making there money from. They would probably start increasing the rewards amount needed just like GSN did with the oodles program. (Don't get tricked into playing cash games!)

    Some Useful Resource Information

Can I play WorldWinner cash competitions in my state?
The rules governing sweepstakes, contests, and tournaments with entry fees or prizes are determined by each individual state, not the federal government. In accordance with these laws, WorldWinner cannot offer cash competitions for all 50 states.

You will not be able to participate in cash competitions if you reside in one of the states listed below:
    •Arkansas
    •Connecticut
    •Delaware
    •Illinois
    •Iowa
    •Louisiana
    •Maryland
    •Montana
    •South Carolina
    •South Dakota
    •Tennessee
    •Vermont
You may continue to play in the free competitions that WorldWinner has to offer.

I am an Arizona/Florida resident but I don't have all of the cash competitions available. Why not?
Arizona and Florida residents are able to upgrade their account to participate in cash competitions however, the variety of cash competitions will be limited in agreement with Arizona and Florida's state restrictions.

The only cash competitions that Arizona/Florida residents will be able to participate in are called Fixed Prize Unlimited Entry competitions (or FPUEs).

Fixed Prize Unlimited Entry competitions are fixed entry fee competitions with pre-determined prizes that are not directly funded by the entry fees received. Fixed Prize Unlimited Entry competitions allow you to enter the same competition as many times as you wish for a fixed prize.

    Is WorldWinner considered gambling?
Gambling games are games of chance and since all WorldWinner games are based on skill - it is the skill of the player (not luck) which determines the outcome of the competitions - WorldWinner is not considered to be gambling.

WorldWinner makes no money on the outcome of a competition. We are solely in the business of organizing and managing competitions, and we take a fee for doing that, but we have no vested interest in the outcome of the competitions we provide.

    Can I play for free?
Of course! You can play for free as long as you like! We currently offer 2 and 5 Player tournaments to our Practice (free) members in a majority of our popular game titles. To participate in a wider variety of tournament types (including additional difficulty levels) you will need to become an Upgraded (cash) member.

Simply make a deposit into your account to participate in the cash competitions that WorldWinner offers. There are no membership or subscription fees and you'll have complete control over the funds you choose to deposit into your account. Upgraded (cash) members can withdraw their cash funds at any time they wish!

Do WorldWinner Rewards Points ever expire?
Per WorldWinner's Terms and Conditions (Section 6.5) - WorldWinner reserves the right to void all Reward Points for any account that has been inactive for six (6) consecutive months. An inactive account is any account in which the player has not logged in or played any games (cash or free) in six consecutive months.

Rewards Points you have earned for your game play can be redeemed for a variety of prizes in the WorldWinner Rewards Store.

    thank you very helpful

If you live in one of the prohibited states it appears that you can NOT participate in the the Rewards Program. You can still play games for free and earn reward points but they are essentially worthless since you won't be able to redeem them.

I wonder the same thing. My son plays and has reward points, but I wonder when he becomes a paying player will the points he earned get erased and he has to start over. If anyone knows the answer, let me know. I do know as a paying player myself I do not get a quarter of the promotions he does. The non-paying players get more opportunities for reward points than the paying ones to--seems like it would be the opposite? Clarify if anyone knows.

Cash competitors benefits more than basic (free) ...Basic members (free) only received Reward Point by being a registered member with Worldwinner affiliated sites, such as GSN. Unless the basic member upgrades his/her status (cash competitor), they can't redeem those points in Worldwinners Reward store..Cash competitors play WorldWinner competitions for free for as long as you like and to participate in a wide variety of cash and prize competitions. While basic members (free} are restricted from participate in a wide variety of cash and prize competitions.

In my humble opinion, Worldwinner is an user friendly site by finding the answers to the most common questions. http://gsn.worldwinner.com/cgi/help/index.html Contact Player Services Need Assistance?
