Believe me Squishmar, if GSN still offered the same high quality prizes they once did in the Buy It Now section, I would definitely be continuing to earn Oodles. But the unfortunate reality is that those good old days have ended. With all the Oodletunities that have been removed within the past 3 weeks, you're lucky to get around 400 Oodles a day now, compared to the 900 you would've gotten per day in the past.
At the rate of earning 400 Oodles a day, with the occasional big Garbage Grab win on Facebook and the occasional promotion to play X number of games to win Oodles, I'd be lucky to rack up 400,000 Oodles after 1,000 days, which is essentially almost 3 years. And that's still not the 500,000 Oodles that originally only took me 2 years to save up. I don't think I want to continue spending 30 minutes a day, for the next 3-4 years, starting all over from scratch again. Who knows if the Oodles program will even exist in 3-4 years from now?
I think everyone who has been here since the GSN Oodles program first began in June 2009, and has stuck through it this long, has the same strategy that I had. Save up as many Oodles as you can and redeem all of them at once for a hopefully valuable prize. Then just stop doing the Oodles program altogether.
I'm sure something valuable will eventually come up for the 200,000 Oodles you've saved there.
And once you've redeemed your entire Oodle balance for something, then you can stop accumulating Oodles if you choose to, just like how I have decided to stop.
