Tokens, GSN? Really?

I hope I have this concept wrong but from what I gather (taking a quick glimpse at the new format), you can buy tokens for cash but never cash them in? All you can do with them is continue to play games to win (or lose) more tokens?

HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE?!

Can you explain this to us? Are we right in stating Good Bye to our Double Trouble, Deal or No Deal and 10 point questions Oodles Opportunities and in exchange we get a chance to win I don't know- token worth nothing that we can do anything with? I hope I'm wrong with my interpretation. So please help me and the others understand what's up

I emailed them to confirm because I'd hoped I'd misunderstood, but apparently I haven't.

P.S. Can you imagine how much the GSN customer service reps have DREADED this day? Bless them. As a CSR myself (not for GSN) I know the feeling all too well of having to take the brunt & defend my company when unfair changes come about.

Also it seems you get oodles along with your tokens when you buy. So hey if you wanna spend $200 you can get 15,000 oodles.

I think GSN has finally completely lost me... I've watched & played since PlayMania.

I suppose I will dump all my oodles into a sweepstakes before the oodles completely disappear all together.

It does state on the terms & conditions that you can use the tokens to purchase "virtual goods" LOL. how fun will that be?

seriously GSN. I can play free on another site and earn tokens to redeem for gift cards - see that GIFT CARDS. an actual gift card, no strings attached. Why would I pay to play for more tokens that don't give you anything, where is the sense in that. If I'm going to pay, I want to at least have a chance to win money.

Just a few days ago I was looking at my paltry oodles balance after I spent around 100,000 on various things... now I'm glad I did. I bet the auctions go sky-high now though with everyone basically looking to "dump" their oodles. It's Black Wednesday here at GSN!
