Angry Why change from Oodleland to Casino?

Another way to take away oodles . . . now have tokens and can purchase more tokens like in a real casino. No choice as to whether playing for cash or oodles.

Frankly, I'm not liking this new "improved" GSN. Have the feeling that GSN is trying to turn us into gamblers instead of fun game players.

There is a petition in the Oodles section of this forum you can sign . Hopefully GSN will make some changes if there are enough signatures.

Totally agree. I don't mind change if it's for the better. Been a member 25-1/2 months, only seen change for the worse. Vowed I was done several times, but came back out of familiarity, now nothing is remotely familiar. Suggestion to GSN for post-me members...GSN for dummies page explaining what's new. A recent example might include: "in lieu of having the oodle value decline at a rate exponentially faster than the US dollar, we're introducing the token system, which at least on the surface appears to be the equivalent of a Paddy's Pub Dollar"

What are you supposed to do with tokens? You can't spend them and who wants to pay for a collection of useless items?

Hi, this is the difference between Oodles and Tokens:

Tokens function as game chips, to be used in the GSN Casino Games. They can be won and lost, but can’t be redeemed for merchandise or cash.

Oodles are still our redeemable rewards, which players earn by playing games and completing promotions. They can be exchanged for gifts in the Prize Center.

    New Format

I really really really HATE this new format
I do not understand the token system.
I mean it took me a long time to get oodles.
What happened to the leader board.
I am so disapointed at GSN for what they have done.
I am thinking of cancelling my GSN

Without the ability to play for oodles in games like Double Trouble and Deal or No Deal, and the (25 or so) 10-point bonus questions, winning oodles is impossible. I'm sure I'm among many who aren't proficient at regular games nor do I have the time to sit and master "seemingly impossible" scores. The thrill of coming here was to play the above mentioned games and drop in for the trivia questions, winning oodles slowly but surely. I also liked the ability to try my hand at auctions and other prizes, although those too are impossible (betting 8k to win 10k and didn't even make top 3 bidder?), but still the fun of trying was there. Thumbs down to the change.

I agree with you dawk1723 i'm ready to give up GSN all together ,they took any chance to win oodles ,the casino games are alright but put back our oodles games the questions are gone double trouble is gone deal or no deal gone etc etc. I hate this new format . it would be ok if you could use tokens to to buy things but you can't use them for anything so why bother playing for them ?? The auctions are impossible to win anything now and by taking away our oodles chances to win I won't be able to use my oodles for nothing. And don't say play the games to win oodles most of us can't beat high score.I ALSO SAY THUMBS DOWN TO THE CHANGE !!!!!

Here's my guess - GSN put in this Tokens thing to try to make us think that Oodles are great - after all you can at least buy a whoopie cushion with them! It's their way of saying "Hey guys - You thought Oodles Buy it Now opportunities were bad - Well how do you like this tokens stuff? Keep on complaining and we'll punish you even more. So shut up and take the Auctions and Sweepstakes and Catch 21 cards or wait and see what we have in store for you next."

We are a pathetic bunch (self included) who just keep coming back for more punishment. And GSN you are a cruel beast.
