They have made a decision and seem to want to get us to give them our credit card numbers and pay just for enough tokens to play rigged games I hope no one is stupid enough to buy tokens It is obvious they don't listen to their customers and a company that does that doesn't last long.

Update: I don't know why I didn't see Angel's response above... maybe she edited it to include the answers to our questions but I had already seen her first response? I don't know but now I understand and it's exactly what I described in my other post. Okay. Thanks for that clarification, Angel!

And it seems that the problem with not seeing the wheel everyday is that it's not programmed to appear after you log in each day... just when you are on the site after it turns to midnight. The Question of the Day used to pop-up only after you logged in. If you are already logged in, it seems to appear after midnight but if you logout and then log back in, it doesn't appear. It's confusing.

Thanks squishmar. In looking at the Wheel today and really paying attention to it and trying everything to make it spin a second time, it obviously works as you have explained. Your explanation is much clearer about the "spins" than the way GSN shows it on the Wheel. I'm like a lot of people about these games and tokens--don't really like them but will use the free ones. I'd much rather have the oodles I could earn from the games they have put in the "Casino." Since I haven't been much of a gamer for the last 7 years or so because of an injury to my right extremity, I will never be good enough to win more than 10 or so oodles on the games available to play no matter how much I practice. I'm not going to get any faster because of the injury. Anyway, that's probably way more info than you wanted to know.

I was trying to make myself clear... I guess I finally did. Angel and you seemed to understand what I was trying to say. I've finally got it all figured out and I can see the Token Bonus Wheel if I'm logged out before it turns to midnight and then log back in after midnight. And I've avoided the freezing up of my computer by simply clicking on white space outside of the Wheel window instead of on the "x" in the upper right corner of the Wheel window.

I'll say it again, because I think it's a great idea... I believe more leaderboards should be like the Crazy 8 boards. EXCEPT DO NOT CHARGE 10 OODLES FOR THE GAMES!!!

This would be a great way to get more people playing more varied games (and therefore, seeing more ads--what GSN wants) and it would give the average player a much better shot at getting a decent amount of oodles every once in awhile by the chance aspect of the Crazy 8 feature. This is much more of an incentive to play a game I'm not great at instead of playing and playing only for the chance of getting 5 measly oodles at the end of the day with the extended leaderboards.

I really think this would help appease some players a lot more than just the extended leaderboards alone. They really don't do much good. A shot at 158 oodles or 128 oodles would be much more worth my time than 5 or 10 oodles!!!

I'm not Angel, but I don't think that option is available. Cash competitions are on the World Winner site and I think all tokens are good for are more tokens for the GSN Casino games.... I'm definitely not positive though.

I meant to say to you... Have you SEEN my posts? LOL. I'm like the most verbose person around here (just look at the *number* of posts I've made).... so believe me when I say... write all you want. I enjoy the social aspect of these boards as well as answering any questions and helping out whenever I can. So no, it was NOT more info than I wanted to know! Feel free to share as much or as little as you care to. (And I'm always available for private messaging if you'd like, to keep the boards more streamlined.)

I don't like the tokens either all the games i like the most are there and it cost way to many token to play each games as far as i'm concerned i really like the games in this site but now its not as much fun here to play. I've startd play in other site now more then here. I wish they would have just left it alone it was fun to bad you are right they are going to lose a lot of members. (sad about the change)

I hope I am posting this comment in the right thread. I wasn't going to post any more about my dislike for the changes at GSN.com, BUT...I have to say that playing Deal or No Deal is actually funner now than before. I still don't like tokens and will NEVER buy any, I still log onto GSN.com 90% less than before, and I still don't think the change was handled correctly at all. Nevertheless, DOND is a lot more exciting when the amounts under the numbers are larger, and it's great that you can choose to bet a little or a lot. I hope that when GSN.com goes back to just Oodles that they keep this new version of DOND!

PROBLEM WITH DEAL OR NO DEAL GAME OF THE WEEK. It says that we will get 300 oodles if we play 25 games--yet when you go to page it says WIN TOKENS. Is this deliberate on GSN part to cheat us out of oodles instead of giving us useless tokens---what do you all think????

  11. #26
No... it's fine. The Deal or No Deal game is now in the Casino, so you are wagering with and playing for the tokens (like all Casino games now) but the promotion is for OODLES. They're separate things. You will win or lose TOKENS when you play the game, but regardless, after you play 25 games, you will be awarded 300 OODLES.

I think it's great... the tokens are worthless except for more game play, so I have a lot of them, but with these cross-promotions, they are effectively giving you a way to exchange your tokens for your slightly less-worthless oodles. LOL.

Double Trouble has to be rigged I never use to get busted as much as now At least keep the odds the same. They must think people will be so hooked they will spend money to paly these games. I could spend $5 here or do like I did today. I went in a local restaurant that has the Oregon Lottery and put $5 in the Big City 5 game and won $375............. Later I went down to the store and put $5 in the Zeus game and won another $60...........................................Need less to say I won't be spending any of that money here!

It is funny how on Triple Play Black Jack that the dealer always seems to end up with 21 almost every time.
