    Tokens are a bad idea

    Why would anyone want to purchase tokens if they can't be redeemed for anything? There are many other sites that offer free games to play. Paying money for those seems like a ridiculous waste of money.

    Alright. I'm just going to say it right here and now.

    The token idea blows.

    They're worth nothing. You can't use them for cash or prizes. Just to play your games. Deal or No Deal is no longer a winning game, and now it's MUCH harder to turn a profit in Double Trouble.

    It would be different if you could say turn the tokens into Oodles, because then eventually you'd get a prize, but to tell people "You have to pay money just to play our games", sucks to high heaven.

    I, and many people like me, come to GSN for exciting, different and most importantly, FREE games. If it turns into a pay site, I'm not going to pay one red cent. I'll use up my remaining oodles and "Cash out".

    Hi Angel Sweetie

    I'm on GSN from the moment I wake, and last thing I do before getting off my computer. Spend just about all day on it, except to cook, eat, sleep, shop and few other things can't post in open forum LOL. Playing games and winning Oodles is my such a part of my daily routine, My Nick has said he feels like a GSN Oodle Widower.

    I was just so confused with all the changes, don't handle change well, and know I'm not alone with this. I've enjoyed the new Oodletunities being offered. Finally catching on with extra Oodle Bonus Trivia questions, times posted and to answer. As well as playing Catch-21 Quick Hit too. Looking forward to extended leaderboards as well, maybe now will have better chance of winning some Oodles on games I play.

    Am so happy I found your forum post. From what I've heard from other GSNer's, I thought I'd lose all the Oodles I worked so hard to earn and the ones I have would be worth nothing. Was also told I would have to spend money to buy token for the up coming Double Oodles promotion.

    Thanks so very much for the info, it really helped stop my Oodle-panic attacks I was having. Plus have been flooded with messages with questions on changes from my chat family. Usually I can find answers for them, but, with the recent changes. I didn't know what to tell them. I'll certainly pass on your post to them.

    From a professional marketing perspective, the " planned" extended leaderboards and the " new and exciting " Oodletunities for the future, should have been incorporated at the same time other changes took effect..Bad timing, big chance of losing gamers.. Been there, done that, in another type of business.. I predict that more gamers will stop playing than gamers spending $2 to win nothing..

    Thumbs down Tokens are terrible

    I will not spend money to play games where I can't win anything back. I'm tempted to find the sponsors' email addresses and let them know the effect on me and others; and warn them that it might affect how many people see their adds on GSN. It had a negative effect on me and I want GSN to have a negative effect too!

    You know, Brendy. I don't even as much as have a problem with that but now it's hard as hell to turn a profit in DoND. I played a game literally this morning and the token amounts were way too low. Betting 1,000 tokens and having the best offer of the night being 573... in fact, as it turns out, you only have five winning numbers at the 1,000 token level -- 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 5,000, and 10,000. That means your odds are roughly 80% on losing tokens, 4% on breaking even, 4% on doubling your win, 4% on tripling, 4% on x5 and 4% on x10.

    Let's look at the prize structure using the lowest amount possible to play.

    (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 75, 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000)

    That totals a win of 2511 tokens while spending 2600 given an unweighted average. So basically, it's a losing game. You're losing about 3.5% every time you play. In addition, because of the very skewed pay table, you have no real shot of winning anything unless you hit one of the top three amounts. Most of these games are losing propositions. And even if you do win, what are you going to do with a freakin' token?

    I'm glad you're still keeping the oodle program, in fact, to be honest, I think the top prize should be halved on "oodle leaderboard" games because this will keep people from exploiting glitches to earn 500 oodles a day on Diner Dash, but tokens aren't worth anything. I have over 22 million collecting dust on Pogo and all it stands is as a tribute to the level of gaming that I've done so far.

    Unhappy No tokens

    Please go back to the way it was. We ran out of tokens and we cant play deal or no deal, or the casino games. We are very disappointed. Oodles are much better.
