I would definitely make good use of that fantastic pool, as well as hanging out for long hours on the beach. And once I was done swimming and surfing, I'd go to the spa and get a nice massage to ease my sore muscles.

Puerto Penasco is about a ten- to twelve-hour drive from here. I went to San Felipe, Mexico a couple years ago, and I enjoyed it very much. Most of the drive is through the desert, and it's just beautiful. But then you cross the border and come to the Sea of Cortez and it's even more beautiful. Then you come to the beach and there's nothing that could be more beautiful. But I don't swim, and I don't think my wheelchair would do well in the sand, so I spent a lot of time at the house we rented, watching TV and relaxing. We went out to eat for most of our meals and we ate well.
A couple of tips:
Don't bring your pets along.
If you use a wheelchair, accessibility can be a problem if you don't call ahead before you go sightseeing or visit a restaurant. Calling ahead let's them be prepared for your needs. And they'll be eager to help you.
A lot of the people in resort areas speak some English, but it will help you to know some Spanish.

Lots of photography. I would get a shot of every beautiful beach, flower, scenic spot and sunrise/set. Lots of soaking up rays by the pool and on the beach. Lots of lazy snoozing in the sun. Then off for more photos.

The resorts' location--on the sea shore in Mexico--is what I like most about them. Plenty of outdoors activities and fresh seafood are what I'd enjoy.

Having an opportunity to take a relaxing vacation is a great dream. Having an opportunity to take a great vacation at someone else's expense is unbelievable! The Sonoran Resort is absolutely luxurious. All of its units have ocean front views, and they are newly renovated and furnished. The resort has super amenities. There are three swimming pools, jacuzzis, tennis courts, an Internet Center, and a nearby convenience store. The resort has all the conveniences of home and more! The on-site management, 24-hours security and ATM take the resort a notch higher than is usual. Everything the resort has is aimed at providing its vacationers with the best possible experience. Vacationers are meant to feel as if they are in the lap of luxury being fed with a silver spoon! To make that experience even better, the restaurant is top rated, again with a staff that pleases the most discerning palate. An opportunity to spend five night at the Sonoran Resort is a dream come true---like heaven on earth!

I would plan to indulge at the fine restaurants Sonoran Grill, Emiliano’s, & Ramon’s Kitchen, go swimming in the pool and swim up the the bar, to get me a Strawberry daiquiri, relax at the La Spa & Cielo Full Service Spas getting a massage, and also relax at the Jacuzzi's, and to top it off I would enjoy all the sightseeing, shopping, and history of the town.
