Chat Feedback - When would you like to chat? What suggestions for chat do you have?

Hi all,

We’re curious. Do you like GSN Chat at the current hours (from 3pm to 6pm ET)? Which hours would you prefer? Please take our poll and let us know.

Also, we're looking for general feedback regarding chat. What would you like to see chat used for? If you've never used the chat room, what would interest you about it? Please comment and let us know. Try to keep the feedback positive, we're looking for ways to improve.

I would like chat to be used for technical support or Help. Where someone can ask a question in chat and an admin or someone can answer in chat or IM. IM might be the best way. Because, newbies come into chat all the time and wonder where to go and stuff.

I've been chatting in the Live chat room since 2008, 2009 I think was the best year for chat when the new chat client came along. My experience has been great. Met alot of cool people.

3-6pm ET is a good chat time, IMO but, 7:00pm - 10:00pm ET could probably get the most chatters. I've kind of been saying that for awhile. I voted 7-10pm to.

Best time 7-9 pm...include weekends too

7 to 10pm et sounds good since most people are usually home at that time
more chat games connected with tv shows
if you want to check into a shout box for GSN help only try freeshoutbox.net I use that for the fan site I do with another person

I joined GSN Nework first, when I found it searching for game sights to play games for free. I am a senior lady and don't get out as much anymore, so since home I am on the computer a lot & enjoy games and meeting others via social networks. I joined GSN shortly after just going there to play games.

Since I had DTV I was able to find the Game Show Network and watched it all the time, especially since I enjoyed that they had some of the classic games shows on their schedule. Then I saw GSN Live and watched everyday from 3-6 P.M. and that became a big part of my day!

Then on GSN Live I heard them say can I give a "Shout out to the chat room" & found out there was a chat going on while GSN Live was on & went there to join in to see what it was like. I never chatted often online & if did it would be just to say hello to someone I knew or new friends & off again or to ask a friend/family something on social networks.

I found the chat to be the best I've seen online and that it had rules to monitor it by and seemed safe & controlled to keep out those that would be offensive, etc. Then the chat became friends and those friends became like family & GSN became not just a part of my day, but part of my life! As, to what I'd like to see in chat more.

I would like to see more games played for oodles as we do when we play along with games that are on GSN while we chat like Family Feud and Chain Reaction. We also, liked to play along with Lingo and other games. However, if GSN doesn't want to do it for oodles (play along with game shows on that time of chat) then maybe just make it a leader board type thing for fun for us all to get on that board?

Thanks GSNAngel we all like it most of all when we get to see you in chat! I don't know if a lady or gentleman, but you are a very friendly, kind and helpful person when you stop by. PS: Like to see chat be a place, where someone who knows GSN can answer questions we may have about the website/TV programs & please do away with so man non classic show re-runs (like DOND) just my own suggestion1 Thanks for everything and please keep games for free as that is what first drew me to join GSN!

Just do away with it!!! Put the money GSN is using for the chat room into prizes. The people in the chat room are rude and don't care about anything other than themselves. I tried it and will NEVER come back.

The time frame with the least conflicts for me would be the old 3-6 PM, followed by 1-4 PM. I could do at least part of the later time slots on some days, but I also have meetings and other online shows I watch during those times.

I'm between jobs once again since I was laid off a couple weeks ago. That's why I'm able to do the earlier slots.

3 PM to 7 PM would allow more people to make it to chat. I hope GSN doesn't ever close chat room. We've made some very dear friends, who have become chat family here. Plus many of us are disabled or housebound and it's a wonderful way for us to connect with other people and be with VDCF's

I voted 7pm.- 10pm. I think this would be best, most people will have gotten home from work, taken care of there obligations & daily chores, including dinner. Now with all this out of the way we can relax & socialize with each other before getting ready for bed & preparing for the next day. I would also like to see Chat on the Weekends. I know myself, that I have neglected my house work, eating & sleeping habits since I found my Awesome Chat Family, because I didn't want to miss being with you all who have become an Important, wonderful part of my Life. Now I miss you all, because of this.! You may have noticed I haven't been in chat a lot lately during the 3-6pm. hours which I regret., but since I got my Dr. lab results saying I have pre-diabetes & High cholesterol I have been forced to give you up, because I have to make lifestyles changes & start eating regular meals, before midnight & going to bed at a decent hour, way before 5 am. THIS IS VERY HARD FOR ME, ESPECIALLY THE TIME I SPENT WITH MY VERY DEAR CHAT FAMILY. I will continue to pop in every chance I get to Chat with you all, because You Will Always Be An Important Part Of My Life, I Need My Awesome Chat Family & I Love You All, mwah, (((GROUP HUGS))) xoxoxo

7PM - 10PM... After dinnertime, and during primetime hours of TV. 3PM - 6PM is OK, but a lot of people work until 5 or 6 anyway, and kids are coming home from school, dinner is being cooked, etc.

I voted for 7PM - 10PM... because most people are home on that day and that will give more time for finish the chores and clean up the rooms. I need my chat family. ((group hugs)) xoxoxo

Yes I would like Chat to be there for Technical Support. I have a whole 50 choodles and what do you use these for. Do not understand this part of it. I really liked playing the games they played, but the few times I played I was lost at what to do.

I think chat would be a great idea if it was an all day event.
People work jobs at different times of the day/night.
It would be a way for everyone to say ''HI'' to friends or members,and communicate their concerns with the great GSN Team members. No matter what the question/comment/concerns they may have, regarding games,sweepstakes,technical issues with web-site, just any topic(s)can be discussed all day/night.
Is this possible?
