500 Oodles Mega-Game - World Smile Day (Ended, 15 winners)
Today is World Smile Day, and the theme is "Do an act of kindness. Help one person smile."
Harvey Ball created the iconic yellow smiley face in 1963. The image is one we all know and love. He was worried the original meaning of his smiley face was being lost through over-commercialization, and out of that came his idea for World Smile Day. He wanted everyone to devote one day a year to smiles and acts of kindness. The first World Smile Day was held in 1999, and is celebrated every year in his hometown of Worcester, MA and around the world!
For a chance at 500 Oodles, tell us how you plan to help someone smile, either today or this weekend. Years of experience have shown our Oodlers are some of the kindest people ever encountered. We look forward to reading your posts!
Rules: You have until Midnight ET Sunday to post. Winners will be drawn on Monday. Please post only once. Do not comment on other posts until after winners are announced. 15 people will be chosen randomly to win 500 Oodles.

I like to joke around so, I'd say I would like to make someone laugh. I like to laugh all the time. Watching TV or whatever! It's good for you to laugh and smile!
I like watching old tv shows like burns and allen and jack benny and evry so often in gsn chat I post the joke in the chat to get a chuckle out of others.
as well as bad jokes thats was told on a local horror movie show I watch (which now on national tv on METV)
I'm going to give SMILES to my son - Jesse, by giving him money so he can practice bowling tonight. Monday he'll be in the Special Olympics Bowling Tournament in Missourii.
Good Luck Jesse & Travis - go for the GOLD!!
I smile and greet everyone I meet. On this forum I post the secret word for people and around my neighborhood I do odd jobs for my senior naighbors. I always hold he door for others at the post office, and return my neighbor's cat when she gets out so she doesnt get herself into trouble or worse.
This weekend is packed. painting the kitchen, washing the windows then putting halloween decorations up. Shopping for new kitchen artwork. Making scarecrows and taffy apples and bike riding to get a good dinner out.......and some football and board games too.
Many of us in the chat room are coping with physical aches and pains on a regular basis. My experience is that it's healthier to laugh than to complain, and I do what I can to make everyone healthy. I'm a regular laugh riot, and the world needs more riots.
