The 6-8P.M. primetime schedule is fine as it is, especially with the elimination of Baggage at 7:30. For some people, the only reason why they watch GSN is because of Lingo and or Catch 21. The long Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday night marathons will not work, and would probably be better if they were 2-3 hours. Monday and Friday night primetime schedules are pretty good though. The new Lingo had great ratings when the episodes were new, and this is surprising to me because it means Lingo will not get a second season, and Catch 21 will probably not get another season too.
I do have to note that the reduction of Lingo episodes may be good since there were only 40 episodes, but it disappoints me because of that changes it will probably not get a new season. The show simply needed a few minor tweeks and it would have been fine.
Here are how many times each show is on every week.
Before Starting November 7th
Lingo (Bill) 13 8
Catch 21 15 9
Baggage 19 24
Newlywed Game 13 19
Deal Or No Deal 26 26
Family Feud 52 47
