Has ayone else had problems with ads popping up during games?
I was playing suds, and the "REMAX" banner doubled.There were now two rollover ads blocking the board,you couldn't get rid of either because it just rolls over each other.gets frustrating while playing games. Bring back the separate window for the games with the ads in between, and leave the banners on the main page.
WHY do ADS have to COMPLETELY COVER & Disrupt GAMES?
REALLY makes me angry, when I am playing a game and I am ATTACKED by the Ads! Makes me want to make a POINT, NEVER to ever think about using T-mobile, Ford or Remax! Also maybe telling everyone I know never to use them either! I KNOW that these companies PAY to advertize and GSN Needs them. BUT, there are polite ways to sell services and products. Wastes our time to play and then have these ads take away any chance of us winning! WHY does this have to happen. MANY of them have no 'X' button to close them either! PLEASE give us a break. Just use ads that you click on to request and have the 'x' or 'CLOSE' button to close! Can they show the ad before the game or atleast wait til we are done with the game. THANKS!
I would like that question answered. While playing dond today, they had the advertisement for volkswagen and it said "click here", but, all I did was bring my cursor over it and it popped up.
Also, one of my pet peeves is the one with the flashing that says you are a winner. This one constantly comes up and it is extremely irritating and distracting. I hate these, they ruin a lot of my games, and usually it happens when I am having a decent game and it completely throws me off.
Maybe I just have a short attention span, but it is frustrating.
GSN please stop these.
I use Ad Block Plus to block ads. I don't know if it's available for all browsers I know but do a search for "Ad Block Plus for (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Google Chrome or Safari)". If it's not available for the browser you're using, I'm sure that there are other addons to block ads, you just have to search. "Ad Block Plus" is considered as an addon for the browser, by the way.
Ad Block Plus is free and easy to install.
Not just ruining games but costing leaderboard oodles at times as well. Don't get me wrong; I'm all for GSN receiving ad revenues and advertisers making their brands more visible as I totally understand the role advertisements play here for keeping games free as well as offering prizes and whatnot and if we had a CiCi's Pizza around here I'd be stuffing my fat face with them right about now, but it sure would be nice if ads didn't run DURING games. Before games? Fine. After games? Most definitely. But who in the world, during the heat of competition, goes "I'm having a great game and just might crack into the top half of the leaderboard -- but hold the phone, this Re-Max Realty ad sure looks inviting, let me see what the fine print has to say"?
I'm all for doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling ad content on this site BETWEEN games, but how about cutting us a break for a minute or three while we are actually playing a game so that we don't have to experience pauses, freezes, and the dreaded uncloseable full-page ad filling the screen DURING gameplay?
BlueRX or Blue cross blue shield, or whatever that ad is keeps glitching and covering my games.
I have experienced this as well and it is very irratating. they always seem to pop up when you are playing a game that is timed and you cant close them ..they have made me lose my place on the leaderboards many times. It is very aggravating when it happens while playing a weekly win it game..because you have to use oodles to enter and it takes away your chance to win a prize.
Just today I had problems with the ads over the game window doubling and even tripling up. And if you move your mouse over it then the full-screen ad pops up... Grrrrrrrr!!!
Yep me too! Grrrr! I wrote about it yesterday in a different thread! I had done really well(HIGH score) and could not Close the game to get my Score on the leaderboard! After playing the game for 15 min. per game, it really made me angry... I played a few games and each time it did that, so I JUST SHUT IT DOWN for the day... What is the gain if you can't finish a game? Do not think it makes me like the advertizers any better!
T-mobile ads spreading across games.
This ad keeps ruining mahjongg, video bingo, cici swapit, blackjack. Why won't GSN fix this?
I don't know... Just had it interfere with the Alc. Mahjongg too.. 2 days in a row... Really getting everyone angry!... This does not make the players buy these products!... I can tell you that these items are not on my to buy list!...

I reported this problem to the "contact" section just now. Should be fixed/answered in the next year or two...? (sarcasm)
It is not just the t-mobile ads, but the volkswagen ads also. send an e-mail to gsnhelp.com and let them know of the problem. It is also happening with the Suds game. Covers up letters and you don't know what is available to you. I wrote them yesterday and they said they are going to try to resolve the problem. I haven't had a problem with it today.
Now if it would just stop the flashing "You are a Winner along side of the games, I would truly be a happy camper.
