I also live in a rural area, and any large chain of restaurants are a minimum of 35 miles from me. And. like you, that one is Applebee's, which is a very good restaurant. Their chef is excellent.

We also have the other restaurants within 60 miles to 140 miles from us. Occasionally we get up to St. Louis and they are 140 miles from us. They have all of those restaurants. We have a Red Lobster which is 60 miles from here, but my husband won't eat there any more.

We must be neighbors, the closest large city to me is good ol' KCMO! Go CHIEFS - twice on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL?? Sure hope we do better next week!
