I have accummulated over 300,000 tokens that I didn't want, ask for, or play for. What are they good for? Does anyone wish to buy my tokens? Trade you tokens for oodles.

If only we COULD trade. I have over half a million tokens collecting dust (I only use them for the promotions to get oodles).

Sorry, you cannot trade them. The only thing they are good for is to play the casino games. A lot of people buy these tokens (I don't know why). You cannot trade them nor sell them. I have over 430K tokens and I use them to play the promo games for oodles. Which, gsn is doing a lot of. Like you, I would rather have the oodles.

It is one of those things that you can buy and then discover they are almost useless.

e-mail gsn and ask them to give your e-mail to someone in charge of this foolishness. There are a lot of us (the majority) that feel this way about tokens. It is as if they think they can fill their coffers with moneys by selling something that is totally useless. People do not want to buy something and get nothing in return.

Of course, there is that old agage that there is a fool born every minute.

I totally agree and cannot begin to comprehend someone buying tokens. Even if I were filthy rich, I still would play these games on free sites or use the tokens I'm given if I really loved the games that much in the Casino. Heck, since there is NO reward, I would recommend buying a hand-held game of the type you like (slots, poker, etc.) instead.

But, apparently, the token thing is working out well for GSN. I think they advertised the heck out of it when they started it up because I noticed many first-timers posting on the Message Board Game for Oodles right after the Casino opened...but I wonder if the appeal has worn off for those that DID buy tokens given how many glitches there seem to be with the Casino games.

I don't know if you were asking me, but I'll answer.... I don't like to play the Casino games because they aren't worth my time. I enjoy some of the games but not enough to play them and take time away where I could be playing games to earn oodles... which are worth a little something. The tokens are just a vicious cycle... using them to play games to win more tokens to play yet more games to try to win more tokens.... ad nauseam.

But, like I said, I do enjoy some of the Casino games, so the best thing is when there are promotions to earn oodles playing the Casino games. Like this week's Game of the Week (Wheel of Fortune Slots). It's the only time the tokens are WORTH something because you are effectively trading them in for oodles. Plus it decreases my ever-increasing token balance.
