I don't think you understood what he was being said. It had nothing to do about being a "classic" game show host. Nothing in Feud88's post mentioned that. What was being said was that since you chirp Steve Harvey for things that are pretty much pointless to chirp him over. Because of your incessant hate for Harvey, it's like he can join the ranks, and join guys who have taken heat for their work.

That and Steve Harvey is actually good at hosting, and the ratings and attention the show is getting proves that. So Steve Harvey, can now join the ranks of Bob Barker and to a lesser extent Alex Trebek of host who at least do a decent job and keep(ed) their respective shows popular ratings winners, but seem to get a lot of bizarre hate. These dudes may not be humanitarian of the year, but the do their respective jobs well. So, thank you racingchick1020 for actually reading and understanding what I had wrote.

We all know Steve Harvey isn't a game show host like O'Hurley or even Karn. Both of those two (mainly O'Hurley) had a different type of humor that fit into the show more. It's just become more TV-14 with Steve now. But, the show is doing better than ever and has been renewed through 2015.

I'm comparing Family Feud to Lingo on GSN. Chuck Woolery was a classic game show host, and the show was more family friendly. With Bill Engvall, it turned "TV-14" just like Family Feud is now with Steve Harvey, compared to episodes from 1999-2010 of Feud.
