Just a rant here, skip it if you'd like.

Can this site get ANY worse? First, they take ALL of my favorite games and put them in the "Casino" section, where I need to use their worthless tokens to play. Use up the paltry "free" daily allowance, and then BUY some more? Yeah, right.

Now, the ONE game I'd still been deriving some enjoyment from, Chicken Of The Sea Undersea Treasure Match, has become more effort than it's worth...more "five-spins-and-you're-done" games than not, and hardly any points won at all, can barely get over 10,000 before the game begins its inevitable countdown to failure. Leaderboard? LEADERBOARD???? Sure...

AND, to top it all off, now I'm getting security pop-ups saying that malware is attempting to download to my PC while I'm playing.

When is enough, enough? It's sad, because I used to actually enjoy checking in for an hour or so each day. Not so much anymore...

opinonated answer: This is one reason I don't play GSN casino games everyday...I just save those tokens up, by loggin everyday, so when oodles are offer to play a casino game ---Never have purchased any tokens to play....I have close to 600,000 tokens saved since they have introduced this new program

Malware issues - yes I have similar issues/messages came across while I am only on GSN website...Other game sites that I am registered and promo advertisement for their sponsors, I have no issues.....

My rant has been stated above....

Another note, I believe that GSN has taken a page from from this website in promoting the casino games...I play these same exact games that's on GSN and facebook..Some of the features that's built in these casino games have been eliminated from GSN casino games....I have much fun playing the casino games on facebook although the tokens have no value too.

For what it's worth, I'm well aware that the COTS Undersea Treasure Match game is "no longer advertised." However, it IS still available, if you know where to look, and I play it every day. And it DOES have a leaderboard, which I used to win Oodles on every day, as well. Not so much any more.

Please re-read what I stated that has been highlighted in GREEN....Chicken of the Sea Treasure Match [no tokens required] and Undersea Treaure Slot [tokens are require] are similar games, one has a leaderboard link to it and the other doesn't have a leaderboard....

I also play the non - advertized game Chicken of the Sea Treasure Match daily...I am on the leaderboard every evening

That's for sure. I'm doing the same thing. Logging in for a half hour or less, instead of 3-4 hours of fun playing, trying to get those oodles so you can redeem them for prizes. I tried to play casino games "just for fun" yesterday. I played for about 30 minutes and it was so boring. B-O-R-I-N-G.

When they switched their format, I said I was gonna watch, wait, and see to find out who wins the token/oodle war. I actually thought oodles had a chance. Sorry to say, I think tokens have won the war. GSN.com sure was fun while it lasted! I gave up.

I have been playing these games for the oodles for a few years now, and I have had to play these games a lot to finally make the leaderboards (and that would be earlier in the day) and by the time the day was over, I would not be on the leaderboard any longer. I kept playing and now I make the leaderboards daily on about 10 of them. Usually in the top third. You know, when you play games, the more you play, the better you get. It is that old adage of "practice makes perfect".

I am still playing these games to get better than what I am. It has also helped me to keep my mind a little bit sharper. (Since I am in my golden years).

My advice is to keep playing and improve your skills.

Leaderboards vary in number of places and how many oodles you win. Most are top 75 but there are some that are top 300 or 500 – click on the statement at the top of each leaderboard for places and oodles awarded for each place. Crazy Eight games (Mahjongg Toy Chest and Zen Gems) have a leaderboard of 1000 – players landing on the leaderboard on any number ending in an 8 win extra oodles. My suggestion for making the leaderboards is to focus on the games with 300 or 500 places since they’re easier to make (some of these games are Flingshot, Lingo, Bookworm, Catch 21, Vegas Nights, Wheel of Fortune, Swap It, Dinner Dash). You could also try some of the games that aren’t as popular – fewer players equal a better chance. Finally, find the games that you enjoy playing. The more you play, the better you’ll get and, eventually, you’ll start making the leaderboards. The message boards are also very helpful; I’ve learned more from other players than anything else.

brenfore's advice is very good. And really, it's just practice, practice, practice! It sometimes takes awhile to get really good at a game but it's fun when you do! When you find a game you like a lot, don't worry so much about the leaderboard... work on your personal high score. You'll quickly see it going higher and higher and eventually, you will make your way up the leaderboards. Make sure to play all promotions they have available for oodles (e.g. Game of the Week, Weekend Warrior, etc.)... you don't have to be good at the games (but earn oodles anyway) and they give you a chance to try out different ones that you might not think you'd like but find you do.

On the message boards Forum page, at the bottom, it tells you how many members belong to the GSN.com community. When they changed their format, I checked these numbers every day for about 2 weeks. Instead of members leaving in droves because of the format change, the numbers suggested that an average of 10,000 new members were signing up EVERY DAY. It's always around 10,000, sometimes less, sometimes more, but always about 10,000. That's why in my earlier post I said I think the tokens have won the war and are here to stay. *(If I am wrong about these membership numbers and what they mean, I apologize in advance.)

I hate playing casino games for No Reason. They certainly aren't fun to play. I wish GSN.com would have more promotions where you play Casino games to get oodles. That's the only time I have fun playing Casino games. Because there is something (however small!) at stake! GSN - please listen! More prizes and ways to gain oodles to redeem for prizes. Tokens can stay, just make them worth something!

Alright you guys, maybe I'm being too cynical. I realize it's easier to blame the odds rather than except my lack of skills. So from here on out Ill make a sincere attempt at self -improvement and next time I mention odds I'll have some numbers for you.
