What should GSN do to the schedule?

    New thread here

Reopening the thread from earlier in 2011, I'm starting to realize how good the schedule was even with Love Triangle and Improv. And compared to this it was excellent in 2010 with Sherri and Jerry at 6 and 9pm, Deal or No Deal at 7 and 11pm, Feud at 8 & 10pm.

I'm really sick of seeing the same shows over and over again. For the mornings, there are hundreds of episodes of all sorts of classics that could be shown. In the afternoon, it's just Lingo, Whammy!, Catch 21 and Deal or No Deal from 12-4pm. We need some variety there, as for many other places of the schedule.

Now, the prime time lineup is poor with 5-6 hour marathons every night of shows we have many other opportunities to see. Baggage is every night at 6:30pm and 1:30am anyway, The Newlywed Game is weekly at 6pm, Deal or No Deal runs at 1 and 5pm plus all three of those shows are shown on weekends several times. And in the future, DWTS is going to be flooding the schedule as well.

It's time for GSN to go back to the ways they were with how their programming and scheduling was.

If you could choose or make up your own type of schedule, what would it be like?

GSN might as well close shop now that they're going to air Dancing with the Stars almost continuously. That's my advice.

First off, GSN should fire the idiots that made this stupid schedule. Then bring in shows that everyone will actually like.

GSN with their schedule is like Google with YouTube. They completely ruin it and piss a lot of people off. GSN, you are ruining your own network and are pissing everyone off!

Like I said, let's get Match Game PM and the Tattletales and Peter Marshall's Hollywood Squares because we want to see those again, right?

Yes Tattletales would do well at 8:30am and 11:30am (so we don't have two, two hour blocks of Match Game), Match Game at 8, Match Game PM at 11, Hollywood Squares at 9:30am. That's just with the schedule now but hopefully they would mix up the morning schedule for good too.

Or better yet, Match Game PM will have to be seen at 5 or 6:00pm now that I'm working. Tattletales would also have to be seen at 7 but the poll said 'Acquire new modern shows as in The Price Is Right', GSN would have to get a hold of CBS about that.

i use to watch GSN everyday from morning til night but i am so sick and tired of the reruns especially lingo. woolery is gone and now there is that guy from jeff foxworthy which i believe i seen all his episodes too. HOW BORING. NOW I DON'T EVEN WATCH YOUR STATION ANY LONGER UNTIL YOU GET SOME NEW PROGRAMS AND GET RID OF THE RERUNS. there are hundreds of games shows out there past and present and i think i saw everything you have aired except for DWTS will never watch that.

Hello LingoFan! Well with all the rich and exciting material and such that GSN has and could have in the future, I say make TWO CHANNELS: GSN Classics, and GSN Originals, both in SD and HD. I would NOT to want them just toss out the stuff they have produced, some of it is quite good such as LINGO. But NO WHERE does DWTS belong... It isn't even a game show! I say this because the library is massive and it is just too darn hard to balance this stuff and they can't fit all of it. Sometimes dividing interests might sound bad but look at other cable networks that have two or more: HBO 1,2,3-Nick East, Nick West, Lifetime and Lifetime Movie network... GSN has been around awhile and other networks that have been around just as long or longer have different channels. I don't know if this has been said before but if it has, it's because it is a good idea! What do you think?

Good idea. ESPN has that and so do Cinemax and Showtime as well as the sports networks.

I think they're saying "We don't want to spend any more than we want to, so forget even suggesting it."
