Last time around, no. I think the reason that Whammy! has hung around for so long is because it's just a revamped PYL, which always did great numbers for GSN. I didn't see the need for the "Double Whammy", but to me the show was never about the animations.

Besides the annoying contestants and if you didn't have a headache, Whammy! wasn't that bad to watch compared to Catch 21. It still is capable of 300K numbers at 10am on weekends.

Not really. Not as much as 1 vs. 100 at least.

1 vs. 100 was one of the most annoying GSN originals. But you have to remember its a different format than other game shows. There are 101 contestants, the studio is wide open and the crowd in always making noise. So consider that. And What was the Povich version?
