GSN three part weekday schedule (really five parts, but 3 different genres of show)

8am-1pm: Classics (Match Game, Match Game PM, $25,000 Pyramid, Tattletales, Card Sharks, Password Plus, Super Password)

1pm-5pm: Modern (Lingo, Deal or No Deal, Family Feud, Chain Reaction, Whammy!, Pyramid, 1 vs. 100, Million Dollar Password, Power of 10, Catch 21, The Newlywed Game, Baggage, Camouflage)

5pm-8pm: New GSN originals (The Newlywed Game, Baggage, American Bible Challenge, $100,000 Pyramid, Beat the Chefs, and NO REALITY)

    8pm-2am: Modern/New GSN originals

    2am-4am: Classics

All the shows listed there would raise GSN's number of shows from the current 18 to 23!

That's good but what about the weekends?

2:00 to 4:00 should be Now You See It, Beat The Clock, Love Connection and Blockbusters

Essentially, that's the basic frame of the current schedule (save for the blocks). So I don't think that would raise ratings much, if at all.

I think it could slightly help the noon hour by pushing classics until 1pm, and new GSN shows between 5pm-8pm is a big time frame, so who knows what they could do with that.

But following the schedule GSN has now Karn Feud and Donny's Pyramid are NOT classics.

The key word is "Essentially". I personally don't think having an extra two hours of classics would do much ratings wise, especially since I don't see GSN going out of their way to get different shows (ones not currently in the lineup) to make it worthwhile. And some of the shows you mentioned (Camouflage, MDP, Newlywed with Sherri most likely) aren't particularly exciting or have been abused so much that it won't matter.

Adding one hour of classics until 1pm would beat Woolery Lingo any day, since right now on the weekday schedule it is or nearly is the lowest rated show. If Camouflage and Power of 10 were to come back in weekend afternoon slots, they would do well since Camouflage, and to some extent Power of 10 have not been seen in a long time.

Do we mean Roger Lodge's version or another version?

Camouflage hasn't been on GSN in 4 years.

As insane as it sounds, it should come back. With only a couple dozen episodes, a weekend slot or two (2-4 episodes a week) wouldn't be bad at all, and word association games have always been good.

But when GSN created Camouflage, I mean what were they thinking? How many words can you actually get that have another word or two in them?

  10. #625
I didn't know that Camouflage had that many episodes.

How many did How Much Is Enough have?

Camouflage like many other one-seasoned GSN originals had 40 episodes in 2007.

But, How Much Is Enough came on the air back in early 2008 and not 2007.

I'll change that post. In 2007, Camouflage had 40 episodes in one season. I'm not sure how many How Much Is Enough had
