For GSN, I would have to say Deal or No Deal, Dancing with the Stars, and maybe Family Feud (Karn) when they purchased it. Also 5th Grader was expensive

I wouldn't mind it at all if GSN block scheduled the classics. That wouldn't be so bad considering the classics aren't very high rated, although when Card Sharks (Perry) and The $25,000 Pyramid aired in the 10am hour, they were highly rated. But for example:

    Monday - Family Feud (Dawson)
    Tuesday - Password Plus
    Wednesday - Match Game
    Thursday - Super Password
    Friday - The $25,000 Pyramid

That could be from 8am - 12pm ET. Just a suggestion. This wouldn't be such a bad idea, I don't think. Then for weekends:

    Saturday - Whammy!
    Sunday - Chain Reaction

And on those days the shows could air from 9am - 11am ET.

I wouldn't suggest that. We've seen in prime time that block scheduling doesn't work too well. When someone wants to watch a half hour or an hour of shows, they will. But not 3 or 4 hours worth of shows.

I'm saying here, it's in the mornings. Classics don't necessarily do well like they used to and, heck, GSN has classics shoved up into the morning. I don't think it could hurt with classics. Prime time is a different story. GSN used to do great in prime time until the block scheduling came.

I don't see how this would be bad in the mornings, I mean, it would be worth a shot in this case. And for weekends, it woudn't be bad from 9-11am because that's only 4 episodes.

Ehh...I'm still not sure. If I were to vote I would keep GSN's whole schedule (8am-4am) the exact same from Monday-Friday, and then different on weekends. That's just me. But I don't think classics, Whammy! or Chain Reaction would do well 2-4 hours in a row.

Who knows, GSN could try it and see. GSN can try what they feel, I was just saying, in my opinion it wouldn't be bad in the mornings because the shows are mostly low rated anyhow, I think. Anymore you can't get above 200K except when Card Sharks (Perry) was on. But as for the rest of the day:

    12:00pm - Pyramid
    12:30pm - Pyramid
    1:00pm - Lingo (Woolery)
    1:30pm - Lingo (Woolery)
    2:00pm - Catch-21
2:30pm - Press Your Luck (A lead into Whammy)
    3:00pm - Whammy!
    3:30pm - Chain Reaction
    4:00pm - Family Feud (Karn)
    4:30pm - Family Feud (Karn)
    5:00pm - Family Feud (O'Hurley)
    5:30pm - Family Feud (O'Hurley)
    6:00pm - The $100,000 Pyramid
    6:30pm - The $100,000 Pyramid
    7:00pm - The Newlywed Game
    7:30pm - Baggage
    8:00pm - American Bible Challenge
9:00pm - Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?
    10:00pm - Family Feud (Harvey)
    10:30pm - Family Feud (Harvey)
    11:00pm - American Bible Challenge
    12:00am - Jeopardy!
    12:30am - The $100,000 Pyramid
    1:00am - The Newlywed Game
    1:30am - Baggage
    2:00am - Family Feud (O'Hurley)
    2:30am - Super Password
    3:00am - Match Game
    3:30am - Password Plus

That's Monday - Friday by the way. But if GSN wanted to fix mornings up:

    8:00am - Family Feud (Dawson)
    8:30am - Family Feud (Dawson)
    9:00am - Match Game
    9:30am - Password Plus
    10:00am - Card Sharks (Perry)
    10:30am - The $25,000 Pyramid
    11:00am - Super Password
    11:30am - Match Game

I really like you're daytime schedule, I think Sherri/Jerry should air in the 6pm hour, then new $100,000 Pyramid at 7:30pm. So in other words...switch the 6pm and 7pm hours. For mornings, I would keep Match Game at 8 and 8:30am, but the rest is good (enough) for GSN right now

What about the weekend schedule? It can also use some changes.

Honestly, the only change the weekend schedule needs right now is The Newlywed Game at 11 and 11:30am. Maybe one of Carnie's seasons would do better there since Sherri's first season has rerun abuse there, or a Catch 21 hour if GSN doesn't want to show Wilson's episodes.

On weekends, I'm fine with the idea of having "Three shows in 12 hours" on Saturdays and the same on Sundays.

On Saturdays from 1pm to 1am...those shows are The Newlywed Game, Deal or No Deal and Family Feud, which all have been doing well (minus the 1pm DOND)

On Sundays from 1pm to 1am...we have DOND, Family Feud and 5th Grader.

This pattern on weekends will change eventually if The $100,000 Pyramid and American Bible Challenge do well. They'll get a few slots somewhere.

I really like most of it, but I would just mix in five hours of Family Feud (Karn/O'Hurley) from 6pm-11pm since it does so well there right now. I don't know if they can should Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune in the 6pm hour

Can always switch them around. Just saying but, again, does anybody really want 4 hours of Feud? I'm sorry, but sooner or later people are bound to get tired of it due to it being run into the ground. Then GSN will wonder "How could this happen?".

Jeopardy and Wheel in the 6pm hour is worth a shot. You never know how good it can actually do.

If they can air at 6pm, then that will do. And until Karn/O'Hurley get worn out on Saturday nights, I say leave the 5 hour block. I just don't like the idea that Harvey now has the 11 and 11:30pm slot every night. 36 slots a week of Steve's Family Feud is too much. 22 slots would be better (taking away the 11pm hour)

If that got worn out Saturday nights, then I question the other slots during the week if they will get worn out to. All shows don't last forever.
