Dump Dancing with the Stars for good
Acquire new, modern shows (The Price is Right, Lyrics, Harvey Family Feud)
More classics (New shows, new episodes)
Get rid of the marathon/block schedule
Keep the marathon/block schedule
The schedule is fine

There are so many classics but we don't know which ones that we want to see.
And another Question is, when will GSN get the rights to those again?
*Tattletales- Not for a while
*Child's Play- Not for a while either
*Family Feud (Combs)- Next year or two maybe, along with another Dawson season
*Love Connection- Next year or so
*Card Sharks- It'll be back again soon. I think GSN still has it in their library and can air it but doesn't. It would be the same season as before (Perry/Eubanks)
*Eubanks' Newlywed Game- Never since we have Sherri's version
*Original Password- I doubt it will be back soon
Is Hot Potato still a classic?
Yes, it's a classic.
They showed it once 5 years ago and I don't know if they still have the rights to it or not.
More likely answers:
Tattletales: Never again
Child's Play: Probably not for a LONG while
Combs Feud: Probably not for at least 5-7 years at best
Love Connection: Never again
Card Sharks: Maybe 3-5 years down the line
Eubanks Newlywed: I agree with you there, despite my opinion on Sherri's version
60s Password: Not in my lifetime
Tattletales and Child's Play could come back GSN sooner than you think. Since Tattletales is similar to The Newlywed Game, they would rather not show that for now. Sherri's The Newlywed Game isn't going to last forever, even though it may become GSN's longest running original.
Combs Feud that long? I could see the next 2-3 years. They would try that again soon.
With the success of Baggage, they should bring back Love Connection soon. It was a show similar to The Dating Game, therefore Baggage. I could see GSN bringing it back and doing well in a weekend slot.
GSN currently does have access to a season or two of Perry/Eubanks Card Sharks. No lease expired recently. GSN just took the show off to make room for Password Plus and Super Password. Who knows, Card Sharks could be back on GSN by Summer.
Well, I might as well join the schedule craze. Well, here I go.

Basically, I took stuff, and put in places where they'd do well. I mixed up the 8:00am hour with the different versions of Match Game (SYN and PM). I added Card Sharks wit Jim Perry back to the lineup. Eubanks didn't do too hot in daytime or latenights, but did OK in primetime. Perry did well in daytime. As I recall, the Pyramid hour in daytime did well, and Password Plus lasted over 2 years in the 11:00am hour. For the rest of the schedule, I put Woolery back in the afternoons, where he'd do well. I put Howie back at 5, he did better, and put 5th Grader at 7:00pm. I put O'Hurley and Harvey together in primetime, put repeats of the shows in primetime, and added Engvall and Karn. Hey, Karn does well. Deal or No Deal did well at 11:00pm, so I figured it would do well again. For latenights, I just shuffled a few things around.
Weekends coming soon to a forum near you. (Next post unless someone interrupts.)
Here is my proposal for weekends
9:00am - Match Game (either 78/79 or SYN)
9:30am - Whammy!
10:00am - Family Feud (O'Hurley)
10:30am - Jeopardy!
11:00am - The Newlywed Game (Wilson)
11:30am - The Newlywed Game (Shepherd)
12:00pm - Million Dollar Password (Saturday)/1 vs. 100 (Saget) (Sunday)
1:00pm - Deal or No Deal (Saturday)/Family Feud (Harvey) X2 (Sunday)
2:00pm - Deal or No Deal (Saturday)/Who Wants To Be a Millionaire (Regis) (Sunday)
3:00pm - Family Feud (Karn Saturday, O'Hurley Sunday)
3:30pm - Family Feud (Karn Saturday, O'Hurley Sunday)
4:00pm - The Newlywed Game
4:30pm - The Newlywed Game
5:00pm - Lingo (Woolery)
5:30pm - Lingo (Engvall)
6:00pm - Dancing Saturday, 5th Grader Sunday
11:00pm - Chain Reaction X2 (Sundays)
12:00am-4:00am, Same as Now for Both Saturday and Sunday
From what I have observed in ratings, Match Game no matter which version does best starting out the weekend broadcast day. Hollywood Squares did miserable there, and Jeopardy! ain't doin so hot. I think Gene and the gang would do well there again. I moved Jeopardy! to a little later in the morning, it would do better. I added Carnie at 11:00am, and have Sherri follow at 11:30am. For Sundays, I added a Harvey Hour and Regis Millionaire for early afternoon. Then I put O'Hurley for later on Sunday afternoons. I even added a Lingo hour at 5:00pm. And for Sunday nights I put Chain Reaction there, for variety sake.
I like both of those schedules. Its about what I would say. More classics, DWTS limited, and no block scheduling!
