I saw the promos for last night's show and they were touting that it was an uncut episode. I'm not sure what their definition of uncut is. And I figured it wasn't going to REALLY be uncut; which it wasn't. They censored every bad word, and blurred out the lips so you can't read their lips. I suppose it would be funnier if they were to air it truly uncut. In Canada our cable networks are allowed to air real uncut programs after 10:00pm. Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares uncensored is certainly funnier than the heavily censored FOX version for example.

There were way too many commercial breaks IMO, and no real direction for the show. A bit of improv, but no variety, just the same game over and over, just with different comedians as participants.

Drew really has it made in this show, he makes a cameo appearance at the beginning, participates a little in one Improv stunt, and closes the show.

Perhaps as someone already mentioned, the idea of a Las Vegas room may change the atmosphere, and perhaps a studio audience would be easier to have audience participation in. Part of the fun in the original was the comedians would pull out an audience member, and hilarity always ensued.

So again, this show wasn't terrible, but without variety, it's easy to get bored if you watch the entire show. And Drew needs to take a more active approach to this show. Give him back his desk, and have him hand out props or something. And bring back the points, even though they didn't mean anything.

What they should really do is cancel it and see if Comedy Central or something will buy it, IMO.

I watched it again tonight. It's still not a terrible show, but if you're tuning in to watch Drew, then you'll be pretty disappointed.

There were a few more improv games played tonight, and they did bring in audience members. But it seems like the "skits" last too long, and yet the show feels too short.

One thing I noticed tonight, more than ever, was that someone was very heavy on the censor button. There were words that they censored that weren't even any of the "7 dirty words" that George Carlin popularized.

An example was that they said "God" but they couldn't say "Christ". And they occasionally said balls, but I'm sure they censored out that word on occasion as well. Does it depend on the context of the word? Very bizarre censoring...

Yes, in general it does depend on the context. The creator of a favorite show of mine pointed out recently that you can use some words like "balls" as long as you're not talking about the body parts themselves.

Haven't seen the show yet; on the fence about it.

They did censor "God" when it preceded a certain word that rhymes with "ram". I'm guessing "Christ" was censored because it was used in vain. It's all about context.

According to Buzzerblog, apparently Love Triangle is doing better than Improv-A-Ganza based on the first few episodes. Here is the twitter post from Buzzer.

Well, I have to say I greatly prefer Improv-A-Ganza over Love Triangle based on what I've seen of them. I watched them both on Monday. I didn't catch them Tuesday, or yesterday, but that's because I was doing something else.

We'll see what happens, but if Drew's show doesn't improve in the ratings, then I'd expect a shuffle of the 6PM-12AM schedule sometime soon.

I thought I would look in here to see what others are saying. I was very disappointed in this show. First, it's not a game in any shape or form. Second, as others have said, there's very little "Drew Carey" in it and it just wasn't all that funny. Even if it was, it doesn't belong on GSN.

As a HUGE fan of Whose Line Is It Anyway, I was really excited to see the alums back together but I probably WON'T be watching for the following reasons:

The piano music throughout is just annoying. Leave it until the musical games, please.
The venue is too large, making it hard to follow the games on the overly large stage.
The camera work is awful! They're trying to be cool, cutting in and out on the various players so that it's difficult to watch and follow all the action. A smaller stage and better direction would help with that.
Wireless mikes would be a better choice.

Fix these things and I'll watch. Don't mess with the formula that worked!

If no other shows seem to be on and stuff, I justr might give this show a try, in terms of watching it, since it is Drew's second Game Show, and Price is RiIght has been doing very well still with him, no offense to the Bob Barker fans.

Watched the show last night while trying not to gouge my eyes out from playoff hockey (why must you fail me?).

I laughed and I liked it. Now watch - just because I like it, it won't last long.
Game Show Paradise - welcoming GSN forum members since 5/13/2013!

The way ratings are going right now, it probably won't.
