also jhshifris could you tell me who is the host, title, and network of the Russian version of Child's Play is?
I don't know but what I do know is that Goodson-Todman produced it long before Fremantle owned it.
of course they did because it's one of their own creations before the Pearson Television/FremantleMedia licensing fiasco of the late 90's.
Pearson also produced Germany's Press Your Luck that we mentioned earlier.
Australia also had their own version of Concentration.
Australian version of Concentration:
Several versions of the program aired from (1959-1967) with a nighttime version airing until (1961) with Philip Brady, then in the (1970's) with Lionel Williams, and then again in (1997) with Mike Hammond as host; the (1960's) version aired on the Nine Network, while the latter versions aired on the Seven Network.
theirs also a Colombian version of Concentration called Concentrese which aired from the Unicentro Shopping Centre in the (1970's) and the (1980's).
and Finally the U.K. version of Concentration from it's host and years on the network:
(Concentration): Barry McQueen (1959),Chris Howland (1960),David Gell (1960),Nick Jackson (1988),Bob Carolgess (1989-1990)
ITV (1959-1960), ITV/The Family Channel (1988-1990)
P.S.: and again the Pearson produced German version of PYL is called Gluck Am Drucker/Luck at the Push-button.
The U.K. also had their own version of Now You See It.
U.K. version of Now You See It host and network years:
(Now You See It): Johnny Beattie (1981-1984), Jack McLaughlin (1985-1986), Grant Stott (Celebrity version/1993), Fred MacAulay (Children's version/1994-1995)
ITV (1981-1986), STV (Celebrity version 1993/"as part of Weymyss Bay 902101"),(Children's version/1994-1995)
Estonia and Sweden had their own versions of Deal Or No Deal.
Estonian version of DOND:
(Deal or no Deal/Vota voi Jata English:Take or Leave) Alari Kivisaar TV3 (2007)
Swedish version of DOND:
(Deal or no Deal:med Lottodragningen) Martin Timell TV4 (2006)
Sweden also had their own version of Jeopardy.
They should definitely try to get shows like The Chase, The Cube, Only Connect and The Exit List from England. GSN would be worth watching again.
Upcoming Shows: Iron Maiden, Devore, September 13
Kamelot, Anaheim, September 21
Swedish version of Jeopardy! host's and the network years:
(Jeopardy!) Mangus Harenstam (1991-2005),Adam Alsing (2006-2007) TV4 (1991-2005/2006-2007).
What did I say earlier? It will be hard for GSN to get the rights to those.
