Break out your bible!

Hi This is ladye4g (lady from GSN chatroom) I know most not excited about this thread about the Bible, but I wish it would be on GSN (A show or game based on the bible like a bible quiz/trivia one). I think, if they allow DWTS show and others they should at least give Christians like myself something they would enjoy on GSN! I would love to host a show or help GSN get one going and on the air one day soon! I am not only a Christian, but though retired age now, was in the Ministry as Pastor and Pastor's wife, speaker, teacher, etc.

I still am involved in helping others and study the Bible regularly. I have been in many Bible quiz's over the years. I am a Mom of 5 grown children and have 15 grandchildren. Some of the grandchildren involved in local church Bible Quiz. I wish there was a way to get this message/reply to GSN and tell them many of the members, as myself are also Christians and would enjoy something about the bible (quiz or challenges) on GSN!

I hope it happens! No, I do more than hope, I pray they do a show like that again on GSN! To those, who think it is not right then we that think the skimpy sexual outfits and dance moves on DWTS are not right either especially when young children get to watch them! The Bible never caused children to do the things those type shows and others on the air do now my friends! Thanks to a chat friend I found out about this old post! I don't think it was by accident, but I was supposed to see it now! Have a good day/evening whatever it is now and God bless you all my friends!

Nice opinionated response...Yes, I like to see new FLAVOR of games as long this particular PILOT doesn't get out of hand...I think this PILOT program should be focus on TRIVIA QUESTIONS relates to all Walk of Life Religion Culture not just the BIBLE ...

We'll see how the trivia questions go with this show. They might not be about the bible and lines from it every question. It would be like Jeopardy! style bible story questions.

I can't help but wonder about what this says about GSN's audience if this and Baggage and Newlywed Game are the kind of programming choices they watch. That sounds awfully conflicted.

It makes me wonder too...Maybe GSN is trying to say good bye to shows like Baggage (which is going into syndication) and Love Triangle and a more family friendly show like this. We'll just have to see where it goes.

no offense Lingofan97, but i think that most people here on this forum would want to forget that Love Triangle with Wendy Williams ever existed on this network
(BTW: i never watched a single episode of Love Triangle with Wendy Williams at all.)

also does that mean we have to say goodbye to The Newlywed Game (both Carnie and Sherri versions), Engvall's Lingo, and Catch 21 as well?

also the reruns of Whammy! and Woolery's Lingo would be gone too right?

there should be room for this new show along with shows like Catch 21, whammy and Woolery's Lingo, there is always room for variety, but give us a chance also. This might be a very good show. I am looking forward to it. I don't think some of these shows should be seen in prime time, because of children watching. Games should be challenging and I think one on the Bible will be challenging.

Sounds incredibly boring to me. It will get low ratings for sure. Might even rival Late night Liars for lowest ratings ever. It would probably do ok on another network (say... religion network maybe?) But we say that about most GSN shows these days.

in my eyes i see The American Bible Challenge as a 1 full-hour special like GSN's other stinkers Dog Park Superstars and Who Wants To Be Governor Of California? The Debating Game.

And don't forget Chuck and the cat thing. I mean, I like Chuck, I love animals...I have pets...but that was so hyped, and it was like...really???

Re: this show, I think it would be great for the weekends. I don't see this show running every night of the week, let's just keep it on Sunday.
