GSN is piloting the Bible quizzer right now, with a casting call out already. So it's not like original production has ground to a complete, screeching halt. Who knows if and when the Bible show will make it to the network. It could show up in a couple months, it might never show up. But at least one original show is in development.
Heh. Casey, look at your number of posts next to your comment about the Bible quizzer. No offence intended. Just thought that was funny.
Yeah, I'm a real suave guy. Devilish, too.
Now that you posted again you've ruined it. No one will get it now.
Uh, sorry, but sooner or later I was going to post another comment somewhere on the boards. Anyhoo, to explain to anybody who might care, my original comment in this thread about GSN's new Bible quizzer was my 666th post. So a couple posters had a little fun about my remark about a Bible show getting the (in)famous number.
It was funny while it lasted.
Anyway, does anyone think this Bible Quiz show could go into a Jeopardy! style format? Instead of a definite top prize, some money per round and then a bonus round of some sort. I could see something like this happening, yet of course being much cheaper than Jeopardy!
basically your saying that The American Bible Quiz should be a "clone" of Jeopardy!, right Lingofan97?
i mean they did it When Chuck Woolery hosted the 2008 GSN stinker Meow Mix Think Like a Cat Game Show.
i just hope and "pray" that this show doesn't get sued by Sony Pictures Television or Alex Trebek.
If its not an exact clone they can't. Just because they phrase it as giving the answer and not the question won't be enough. I'm thinking they wouldn't use the board of subjects with $$ amounts. They might do something like Jokers Wild or some sort of wheel where you spin and get a category.
Or the Bible quiz show could do something like points instead of cash and the players get to choose what question they would like to choose with a certain amount of points. Like Jeopardy! only without money and categories.
The casting call says the prize money will go to the churches (or "faith-based causes") represented by the teams. By the way, the call says there will be three players on each team.Or the Bible quiz show could do something like points instead of cash and the players get to choose what question they would like to choose with a certain amount of points.
