What do you think was the worst (recent) GSN revival?

As we've seen lately, GSN has had a bad record of reviving show, and yet not appealing to viewers. Two of the three recent GSN revivals are still on the air, and should be in production in 2012. Personally, I like The Newlywed Game and the New Lingo, but what do you think?

The newest episodes of Lingo certainly can't hold a candle to previous episodes GSN made, but that could be that they lowered the IQ level of the show to try and appeal to people of lesser intellect, which I really am not in favour of. They could have kept this show the way it was, and viewers would still tune in. How are the ratings now compared to the previous seasons? I'm sure you will see that they have dropped.-----1vs100 was remade too soon. It's not a bad idea to remake a show, it shows some good creativity, but if the prize is the main draw for a particular show, and if you're going to remake the show and offer only 1% of the prize money as a grand prize, and the host does not have a personality that will keep the show interesting, it just won't work out. Good prize, and good host would have helped it. If prize budget is an issue, then recreate a show that doesn't need a big prize to be entertaining.-----Newlywed Game. I would just as well want to watch the original Eubanks version, but

Lingofan97 i have a question to ask you, why didn't you put All New 3's a Crowd (1999-2002), Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck (2002-2003), and Extreme Gong (1998-1999) on you list of GSN's revival of stinkers?

I said recent GSN revivals meaning the past couple years. But I thought about those shows too. Of course I know Whammy!, I've seen clips of 3's a Crowd and Extreme Gong, they all weren't that bad. Whammy! got annoying though

That's is really not true. GSN gets higher ratings any day* then anytime the old Lingo aired. 5-10 years ago average GSN ratings were half of what they are now. Ratings back then (2002-2007) barely reached 300K. Now averages for ratings excluding mornings and late nights range anywhere from 200-500K. It's not true that Woolery got higher numbers than Engvall. Engvall episodes at midnight right now do twice as well as Improv did at that time
