Game Shows That GSN Should Acquire

Apparently, I'm having issues posting formatted-text on the forums... I had a bunch of paragraphs written, but when I posted them, they were all being mashed up into one big blurb which was hard to read. Anyways, here are my suggestions: Greed, DUEL, Million Dollar Money Drop, 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show, and Million Dollar Mind Game. Also, Secret Fortune and The Exit List, if CBS and ABC go ahead and produce them. On the bubble? Identity, Downfall, Minute to Win It, It's Worth What?, Who's Still Standing?

Of the shows above, GSN should acquire Minute to Win it and Who's Still Standing. Most of those other game shows are short lived and kind of dumb

Personally, I think they should at least try to get a few of the British game shows and adapt them for American audiences, such as The Exit List, The Chase and The Cube. GREAT SHOWS all around.

Upcoming Shows: Iron Maiden, Devore, September 13
    Kamelot, Anaheim, September 21

    GSN can not get those.

GSN cannot pick up Minute To Win It?

As for my realistic wish list, I think GSN should consider acquiring:

Wheel of Fortune - preferrably the 2008-2009 season, with the first and only Million Dollar winner so far.

Press Your Luck - preferrably 1985 and 1986 episodes. If they can pick up 1983 and even just half of 1984 (which would also include Michael Larson), I am fine with it.

Super Password - my favorite of all the Passwords that have aired so far. Since there are almost as many episodes as CBS Match Game, GSN should be able to pick up 400 episodes of that series no problem, and add more later on. Probably start from the range of episodes that had the first but "legal" $55,000 winner (I believe it was from 1986?), and eventually work their way to range of episodes with the second but "illegal" $55,000 winner.

If GSN has to remain within budget limits, GSN should have no problem picking up at least 400 episodes of Super Password, the last 200 episodes of Press Your Luck, and/or a 21st century season of Wheel of Fortune. But knowing GSN, if I were to guess one of the three, I'd say Wheel of Fortune would be more probable.

No, actually, GSN can get Minute To Win It but they can not get the rights to any British game show.

The rights would probably be very expensive.

Yeah, I bet it cost an arm and a leg to pick up Who Dares Wins in 2001, and that was an Australian reality show. There must have been so few episodes of that run, and GSN may have only aired it for a year.

By the way, how many episodes of Who Dares Wins did GSN pick up in 2001?

I don't know. I never had GSN back then.

    I think GSN should acquire:

    Weakest Link
    Greed
    Super Password
    Password Plus
    Press Your Luck
    90's Jeopardy (for weekdays)
90's Wheel of Fortune (for weekdays)
Recent Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune (for weekends)

I mention Weakest Link and Greed because we haven't seen them in quite awhile and maybe those could go on weekends and then eventually maybe weekdays. If possible I was thinking if it was on weekdays eventually, Greed could go on at 1pm and Weakest Link (Gray) at 5pm and 5:30pm ET. Robinson can go on weekends.

Just saying. Sick of all the reruns on this crappy network.

I want GSN to pick up:
    * 1986-1989 John Davidson Hollywood Squares
    * 1987-1988 Wink Martindale High Rollers
    * 1990's and 2000's Shop Til You Drop
    * 1990's and 2000's Supermarket Sweep
    * 1999-2002 Louie Anderson Family Feud
    * 1998-1999 Michael Berger Match Game
    * 2001 Pat Bullard Card Sharks
    * 2007-2008 Temptation: The New Sale of the Century
    * 2007-2008 Merv Griffin's Crosswords (But Retro TV has to lose the rights first, it's about to lose the rights to the Classic Media Filmation library to Me TV!)

These are some of the shows GSN would get. I doubt they would get modern day Wheel of Fortune. Too many spin id numbers to cut out

CardSharks8689, GSN already shown the Michael Larson 2 episode run in it's regular form and in the 2003 documentary Big Bucks: The Press Your Luck Scandal.

They adapted "The Rich List" and made it into "The Money List". They can at least have clones, the way that MTWI cloned "The Cube".

Yea some of the shows on that list are short lived and not good. Plus Anderson Feud is boring, which is why GSN never acquired it. Not sure how well 1980's Hollywood Squares would do on the schedule considering the 90's version BOMBED
