What programming changes are expected for April 1?

The last few years we GSN viewers have been victimized by cruel April Fools jokes:
2009: loss of B&W Overnight, but at least 25K and 100K Pyramid were added.
2010: severe lease restrictions on its four remaining Goodson/ Todman classics.
    2011: Nothing
2012: Loss of pyramid is expected, but will anything else happen?

We may not see the loss of Dick Clark's Pyramid. Who knows they could renew the lease. If anything in March or April, I could see GSN acquiring different classics. They have money for it. Originals aren't in production, the bible quiz show will not cost that much, and no other shows have been acquired since November (DWTS)

Yeah, if they do renew the lease, they may pick up the rights to the long-awaited 1985-86 season of The $100,000 Pyramid. We're long overdue to see that season on GSN since it hasn't been shown since the 1990s.

As for different classics, and this is just wishful thinking on my part, but we'll be lucky enough to see more episodes of the classics we are already seeing now.

As long as the current classics stay on the air right now (including Woolery Lingo) I'm good. I don't care about new episodes, to be honest. It would be nice but I could care either way, IMHO.

I hope GSN renews the lease for Pyramid. That is one of my favorite game shows.

I'm still hoping for the best. Flashback Fridays is a very good sign....but we still haven't seen one new purchased episode of a classic since 2009. Hope CS fans are happy....enjoy the extra views.

As far as everyone who watches the network. Card Sharks and $100,000 Pyramid are the top two rated classics.

April 1st, who knows? It's hard to predict what GSN's schedule will be next week, let alone over a month from now.
    Amen.
