I will bake a batch of cookies and take some coffee and cookies to the Hospice house that is near us for all of those who are sitting with their loved ones final hours.

Our news paper delivery guys get up at 1 am to make sure we have our news papers delivered in time for our 6am coffee. It doesn't matter what the weather is like, they are out there. Little do we know, that while they are on the route, they aren't "just tossing papers". There are those who see litter on the side of the street and stop, pick it up and toss it in the trash bag they lug around in the route car. For my act of kindness, to the local paper deliveries, I am making breakfast (bisquits with sausage, egg and cheese) and taking it to them. I just want them to know "We do notice all the extra they do and Little Things Really DO mean alot".Also, my neighbors are pretty young and have 4 children. Mom works every day and Dad is disabled. They struggle all the time just to meet the needs of their children. I don't think they ever get to have any time to themselves. I am going to have their 4 children over for dinner and Karaoke Saturday night while their parents Go to Dinner and a Movie (my treat to them). I just want them to know life is work, but there's always room and time for a little mom and dad time, too.

My Church is having a "Potato Bar" this Sunday. Goodwill offerings are encouraged. I've decided I'm going to donate $20 for the two of us to eat. I also donate items on a regular basis to my local Sheltered WorkShop. Whenever I get a new item that I'm replacing for an old, I donate the still good item. Foster Children aging out of the system also need household items too.

Kindness should be shown to everyone we come in contact with. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated, my motto for life. My random act of kindness is helping anyone who needs it (animals or people) when ever, where ever and whom ever. Bless someone with kindness and you will be blessed in return.

Well, what does it mean to be kind? Kindness is not just doing a good deed for someone, although it is an act of kindness. Being kind should be our way of life. It should be in our character to be Kind. The Bible even says to be kind in Ephesians 4:32-And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. So, I want to be kind not just today, by showing one deed of kindness, but be known, as a kind person. Sometimes, it means just listening and being there for someone. Just smiling at someone, who may need that smile at that moment more than we will ever know! Being Benevolent and doing a good deed is just that, benevolence, but is also a kind thing to do. So, being kind, should be a part of our character, who we are as a person. My kind deed for today? Well, GSNAngel, I will try to be there with a kind word of encouragement to a friend that lives alone and only has me to talk to each day. She has been through brain tumor & emergency surgery, when my family & I found her in her apartment and called DR and 911! She has been through both Colon cancer surgery and most recently breast cancer! I say a prayer & read a Bible verse with her each morning and call her to say goodnight everyday! It is not easy being kind, as sometimes, they don't want to accept it. However, during those times, being kind can be just being there to help, if/when we can. Here is a big smile
for you GSNAngel and another big smile
for all mvd gsn friends! I hope in someway to show you all I care & always say a kind word! (((hugs))) and love and prayers for you all everyday from ladye!

I would like to help out my daughter and son in law to take care of one grandchild so they can spend more time with their own daughter. I plan to take my grandchild to a soccer game and later to see the ladies of Gongaza play basketball. This will help them out on Saturday. I will also care for the grandchildren as they go to a concert in the evening.

About a month back I entered a contest to create a Logo that centered around the theme of "Pay It Forward". I didn't win the contest but I became friends with the contest creator, Max. When he announced the winner he told everyone that he was setting up a non-profit in memory of his son who had passed away last year. He told several of us who had submitted designs that although he had chosen a winner, he would still like to be able to use our logos on merchandise such as T-shirts and so on. He went on to say that he would pay each of us for our designs in an amount equal to what we would have gotten had he been able to choose all of us as winners for his original contest ($325.00). I wrote to him today and told him that I had attached all the files for my logo design and that, as a Pay It Forward act of my own, I would not accept any form of payment for my logo and I released all copyright and trademark rights to my logo to him as well as to his non-profit. It makes me proud to know that my logo will be used to inspire other people to Pay It Forward! Thanks for listening, Terresa

I am just about to start going through my closet and kitchen to put together a box of items for a donation to Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I have some things packed already, but reading about all the things people are doing, made me want to find some more items to give them. Also, I took my dog for a walk in a field (which he loves, me not so much) so I already did an act of kindness for him.

I would like to make someone laugh, like I do everyday. I also like to do other things to be kind like help out in GSN chat room or message board and other things outside of GSN!
