The clues were stupid in two different ways. 1. We didn't need them and 2. They were sometimes inappropriate

And 3 -- they were certainly not suitable for before 10:00 p.m.

Let's not forget Opening Night, with "Comes in the end" and the black woman's answer.

GSN turned viewers off with the first episode of Lingo. It was an episode with four bad players, and the finalists only won about $3,000. They should have showed one of the episodes where they had good players, and in bonus Lingo the couple got 4 out of 5 words right, and came close the the $100,000. It's not like 1 vs. 100 where you have to air it in order.

Bring it back for a second season. Just cut down on sexual references.

That seems to be the only major problem with the show

If only the third round had more words (unlimited until time expires) to make it easier for the trailing team to catch up.

And were $300 instead of $500 a word

Mr. Lingofan, why did Chuck leave? Did he ask GSN for a raise in salary or something? Why is he not there?
...for $100,000! Here is your first subject, GO! Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock,...

Well the show was cancelled in 2007, but then revised in 2011, so there's a near four year gap there. Maybe GSN didn't ask him to come back, but if they did he probably wasn't interested, and he's retired too. He's like 70 now living in Texas. And he probably would have cost more than Bill

No, stick with $500 per word, but unlimited words until time runs out in the 3rd round.

I just figured doubling points in game shows can be unfair. In Lingo, what if someone got all seven words in the first two rounds, but then the other couple gets two or three words in the third round and a lingo and catches up. Same goes with the current version of The Newlywed Game

I agree with cutting down on sexual references, but some people can insert a sexual innuendo into anything they say. Nowadays, it seems as if more and more people are doing just this. I personally think they can do without clues entirely. They are not needed.
