    Staying logged in?

I am wondering if there is any way to stay logged in? It's not a huge pain, but enough of one for me to finally ask. Every time I close my window or after a certain amount of time I am logged out and have to re-enter my password to log back in.

    Thanks for any help!

Sorry I don't have an answer -- I'm new to this site and was wondering the same thing myself.

I think it's probably a security thing and they do this to protect the user from hackers. Most sites, except for the e-mail sites, automatically log you off to protect them and us. My opinion only. I certainly am no computer geek. lol

Most websites [web owners] have a Web Hosting Software Package...One of the element feature in these packages is [idle/time out function]. If no ACTIVITIES are being used by the user's keyboard on a website, it results to: shutdown/disconnects/logout causes an user to re-login..This also is security feature...A lot of companies websites uses this feature...The bottom line is, this all done behind the scences by the company's developer programming division...They set the parameters as far as IDLE/TIME OUT...

You stated [close my window], of course you would be LOGOUT because you have perform that action....

Now if you want your PC to stay on longer,[this is separate from the above informatoin] you may be interested in these articles:
