were the Whammy Animations from the original PYL were good or crappy?

no offense to the cult classic show or it's mascot and his creator Steve "Savage" Holland but i wanna know from you guys were the "Whammy" animations for the original Press Your Luck are good or just plain crappy since he used a computer for it (i think).

They're way better than the 3-D versions on the 2002-2003 remake, which is the only PYL we see on GSN nowadays. I wish the classic PYL would make a comeback someday, and with episodes other than 1984 next time.

They were pretty bad, even for that time. GSN made the animations so much better, especially when you got a Whammy! and the animations would do something

I liked all of them. I think the PYL were fine for their time. GSN updated them for their version of Whammy! and they were also really good. I also liked the Double Whammy on GSN's version.

I loved the original animated Whammies. Funny, who would ever hurt a whammy?

I also love the GSN ones too. Not like the original, but they were funny.
