We haven't seen the original Press Your Luck in 4 years now!!?? I wish they would air that version instead of the 2002-03 one they have now.

The last GSN airings of Press Your Luck and Blockbusters occurred on March 29, 2009. I definitely remember that day very vividly. 'Twas a sad day.

Blockbusters with Bill Cullen last aired on January 17, 2009, and replaced by Rafferty's the next day. The official last airing of Blockbusters was from the Rafferty run. GSN managed to complete January 1987 of the run, but never got to enter February.

2009 was the year these were taken off. You can even view the past pdf schedules on Buzzerblog to tell.

I gotta say, I'll kind of miss The Power of 10. Why is it every time I get into a show, the pull it or cut down on it?

and this time if the do reacquire the original PYL they should rerun the episodes from 1985-1986 & 1983-1984 instead of episodes from 1984-1985.

It was a good show. It didn't last on CBS because it was two held out. They would answer like one question every 15 minutes. If the show was a half hour it would have worked, and even have seen more attractive ratings on GSN. Plus, 2 episodes of Power of 10 never even saw light on TV until GSN aired them last March.
