UPDATED! Oh no, the sun has officially gone wonky again...
The name says it all, no?
First of all, DON'T GO CRAZY. This is not to cause mass chaos in the GSN world; at this size they can't really hurt us, but most of the world will be able to see auroras later tonight. And, electricity will also go "wonky"; there may be some power outages and your cell phones might not work, but that isn't too bad, right?
Today, three solar flares came from the sun in one day if I recall correctly. One was even featured on the news! It is actually heading toward Earth. Since I'm not really having a cooperative brain right now, I'll just give you some links to read from. If you're on Twitter, you might also want to look up "Solar Flares", but don't listen to the crazy people on there. If there are any errors on this please tell me and I'll change them; I'm not feeling really good today so I'm quite lazy but I'll get to it.
Here are some nice websites to read from; they are all verified and virus-free, as well as pretty clean:
Again, don't freak out, have a good day, and enjoy the videos and stuff; oh, yeah, and reply if you want to but if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all, but friendly debates are welcomed.

The solar flare is most likely impacting earth at this moment! You can blame outages and whatnot on them. Watch for auroras for a currently unknown (by me) time.

This past weekend, my cable signal was interrupted on some of the channels for a few minutes due to Sun spots.

So that's why ESPN did not seem to want to show Chris Barnes' perfect game until the 10th frame. I thought it was their love for El Heat and Los Lakers.

Most likely, yes. There's also another one coming, so hopefully this time I'll see some auroras!
