The Quick Reply box appears at the bottom of a thread enabling you to post a message on the same page, rather than clicking the reply button and loading a new page. For more functionality, such as smiley icons, you can click on "go advanced."

The Multi-Quote feature is at the lower right hand of each post. It is a " icon. When you click on it, it marks the post and as you read down the thread, you can continue selecting other posts to quote. Once you've clicked on all the posts you wish to quote you can click on "reply to thread" and all the selected posts will show in your reply. Since this loads into the quick reply window, once the quotes are replied to you may want to click on "Go advanced." If you want to respond to each post you quoted individually, put your response between the closing quote tags for the person you're replying to, and the opening quote tag of the next quoted post.
