New Wheel of Fortune issue

I just had something weird happen on Wheel of Fortune. I play a lot of Wheel of Fortune and I've never had this problem before. The puzzle answer was "Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell". I was down to 1 spin, I hadn't bought any vowels, and only the H was left to fill in. The time bonus was sitting on over 3000. My score was sitting at about 17700, I spun the wheel and it must have landed on 300. I hit the H on my keyboard, but instead of filling in the H's and telling me only vowels remained, the game blinked and then suddenly all of the remaining letters (including vowels) filled in to the puzzle but my time bonus went down to 0 like I'd run out of time, but I hadn't. The bottom line is that before the bonus puzzle I was at 18,600 instead of being at 20,000 + like it should have been after the time bonus had been added.
Has anyone else had this problem? I sent an email to GSN help but I truly have no idea what happened.

Yes, I was answering the puzzle, I don't think it was that same one, and it did the same thing! said sorry OUT OF TIME
