Really hope it will. Along with Combs Feud, Super Password and Password Plus were the two game shows I was pushing GSN to air again. If Card Sharks is gone I'll be disappointed though.

I won't be disappointed if Card Sharks is gone. I have optimism it will be back, but it will be up to GSN. Besides, I am not that big a fan of Jim Perry's version (see reason below), but I like Eubanks' version more.

I do enjoy Super Password of all the Passwords, because it's more modern. I personally don't care for Password Plus (and Perry's Card Sharks) because of video quality and mono sound associated with NBC game shows back then.

If the Zap2it schedule is right, I would recommend GSN would have a Perry/Eubanks Card Sharks hour at noon. Woolery is doing ok at best there. Better at 12:30 than 12:00 if you look at ratings.

I think we're overdue for any of the Classic Password series to come back to GSN!

Back to back Password Plus / Super Password during the day and 60's Password (Colour and B&W) during the Retro Rewind would add some of that much needed variety that the network needs. I know it's only one program (but 3 eras). If they don't keep Card Sharks it would be disappointing, but it's been so long since I've seen Password, I'd even accept that compromise.

I guess you wouldn't even consider watching B&W programs because it is just too old for you. You are missing out of the best programs out there just because the equipment they used back then was not as advanced as today's.

Well, some exceptions applied. I used to enjoy B&W episodes of The Little Rascals greatly (I have a few videotapes of such shows), and it used to air on an NBC affiliate. Due to politically incorrect content of some sort, such program is unairable nowadays.

Still, I prefer the short-lived ABC cartoon version of The Little Rascals more. Not to mention such run was "cleaner" than the pre-World War II era series.

Apparently it IS coming back. Episode #1 on Password Plus and November 1985 for Super Password. From what I've heard. I can't access them at the moment. I'm stoked.

I would certainly like to see the 1960s version(s) of Password; for that I would set my DVR/VCR.

Password Plus and Super Password coming back in great. I can't wait to see these on GSN again.

GSN's schedule come April will be like reliving 2009 all over again - minus Ray Combs, that is.

I could see GSN picking up more episodes of Dawson and Combs Feud sometime later in 2012. But yes, this does look familar to 2009.

    With the exception of

    The $100,000 Pyramid
    Password
    Pyramid (Osmond)
    Match Game SYN and PM
Family Feud Dawson Nighttime and Combs
    Wheel of Fortune
    Hollywood Squares (Bergeron)

    Yeah it's almost similar.

With the new $100,000 Pyramid coming, we'll only be seeing 25K for now. Wheel of Fortune and original Password---I wish but its a thought.

I'd love to see them add MG PM and SYN back into the mix. That would shake up the rerun abuse situation a bit, too. And it would sure be nice to see 60s Password come back at some point, too...especially if P+ and SP do well (and I anticipate that they will).
