I'm really surprised how many other websites this is shown on. A lot of people are going to be watching the premiere, and the rest of the show if it looks good.

well, will see in the future.

FUN FACT: did you know that GSN originally wanted Kathy Najimy to host The Newlywed Game reboot before the job went to Carnie Wilson?

Carnie's The Newlywed Game lasted successfully for three years. But the highest rated season of The Newlywed Game was season 4, Sherri's first season. And season 5 continued to grow as a hit. I think The Newlywed Game will pass Lingo to make GSN's longest running original

if of course they continue to make new episodes, bu back to Carnie the downfall of her relationship with GSN in 2010 was when she goes to the Chuck Woolery route and gets her own short-lived 6 episodes long reality show title Carnie Wilson:Unstapled which of course she had a lawsuit dispute with the network for that.

The Newlywed Game has been renewed for a sixth season months ago. That ties it with Lingo in the number of seasons, and by the end of The Newlywed Game season 6 we will have more episodes than Lingo from 2002-07. If GSN continues to produce The Newlywed Game after season 6, we will have a long running original.

I really thought Lingo could have lasted into a second season, but with the new GSN administration this past year they decided to look at other projects.

so sadly Bill Engvall's game show hosting career and Lingo 2011 are not A-L-I-V-E anymore!

Hmm...If we had the same GSN administration we had two years ago right now we'd probably have a second or third season of the new Lingo, and a fifth, and if that did well a sixth season of Catch 21 by now.
