Another show I used to love but now don't care about anymore is Arthur.

The show was okay up to and including 2006, though I do admit, the show was becoming dull by the time we were in the midst of the 2004-2005 season. There was only one 2006 season episode I enjoyed - "The Secret about Secrets" is one I really enjoyed (especially the ending to that one where D.W. gets her secret about her friend splitting his pants out and into a shell in a lake, only for a seagull at the very end bursting a bubble coming from the shell and "James split his pants!" - D.W.'s secret she didn't want to reveal - was revealed in the air, though luckily James wasn't in the area), but everything else that season was just blah. The 2007 season was not at all great - I discontinued watching the show midway through the 2007 season, and the last time I watched Arthur in July 2007, it was the second airing of the episode with "Strangers On A Train" - the one where Sue Ellen was trying to solve a mystery while taking a journey on a train. After that, because of rerun-abuse of previous seasons, some of which aired overkill to that point, and the newer episodes not being that interesting to watch, plus college and now my job taking over my agenda, I immediately tuned out Arthur for good. Though I do admit, there were some interesting episodes that I elected to miss because of priorities - such as the episode where Francine copied and pasted an Internet article and used it for her report, and an episode where Mrs. McGrady was diagnosed with cancer, and in the current season Grandpa Dave was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

And I heard rumor that Arthur may be cancelled after the current season. Not sure if they will air reruns for a few more years after that (like they did with Reading Rainbow), or if they'll yank it off the air in September (like they did with Bill Nye The Science Guy in 1999), but I think the end is coming sooner than later. If Arthur does indeed go off the air, I think the show will go out a normal episode. Unless the "Prunella The Packrat" episode reveals some "hinting" of the show, Arthur, being on the way out.

sadly, H. Jon Benjamin never narrated the Spike TV show 1,000 Ways To Die, but to be fair their are 3 guys that did named:
    Thom Beers (pilot/US broadcast)
    Ron Pearlman (Seasons 1-4/US broadcast)
& Alisdar Simpson (Pilot & series 1-4/UK broadcast)

BTW BJobSecure1: i never watched 1,000 Ways To Die on Spike TV in my lifetime.

I wouldn't be so sure. Season 16 is in production (w/new co-producer and distributor), according to this link.

    Wow. I'm very surprised.

Still, it's not my cup of tea anymore. I have better things to do with my time.

I used to love Family Matters as a kid, can't watch it anymore nowadays. It just got too obnoxious when Urkel took over the show IMO. Especially in the later years when it became obvious that the writers kept trying to top the latest insane plot/invention used on the previous episode.

For shows that I used to love (but don't now), my vote goes to Full House. I honestly have no idea why I used to like this show way back when (especially after Uncle Jesse married Aunt Becky and eventually ended up having twins of their own). I don't think there was anything real spectacular about Full House being on for eight years.

I second this. I loved this show as a kid as well. Today I can't be bothered to watch it anymore. It's become too corny to watch for my tastes.

I used to hate The Walking Dead because I hate zombies but I love it now.

Wow, way to revive an old thread.

Okay, I have one more on a show that I used to love but now can't stand.

    Show: Married with Children
    Year: 1995

What happened? During the 9th Season, I had a major revelation. Al Bundy looked out a window where a young lady was seducing him. The girl disappeared off camera and her bikini flung off.

For the first time in my life, I actually didn't find the romantic failure aspect of the joke "funny" at all. I actually said "That's not really funny". It really set the tone for my penchant against the idea of "Look, he's going to fail again!". 18 years all set by a straw that broke a camel's back. Of course, when he tried to join the party, the ship started to sink.

A joke can only be funny a finite number of times and at that point, it exceeded that total.

Yeah. The sexuality thing was run deep into the ground. And the novelty quickly becomes old.

Cheaters-- Not as enjoyable since they replaced Joey Greco with Clark Gable III as host.
Get rid of Minaj on Idol and the show could still be salvaged.

The show that was my favorite show to watch when I was young was Jem And The Holograms and every weekday afternoon when I would return from school Mom would turn on the USA Channel to watch Jem And The Holograms with me and I thought Jem was so cool and she was really smart and a good singer. In fact I recently regained interest in Jem And The Holograms by watching it on DVD and it was such a cool show and kind of like an animated soap opera. As for shows I dislike I have a dislike for Family Guy and I don't know why it's so popular and people love it. The main reason I dislike Family Guy is the fact that Cartoon Network recycles the same episodes of Family Guy nearly every week and people can get tired of seeing the same Family Guy episodes every day. I mean Family Guy is cool and everything but now it gets tiresome to see the same reruns many times,

"Welcome Back, Kotter" -- the fourth and final season. If ever there was a perfect example of how to ruin a show, this was it. The two top stars, Gabe Kaplan and John Travolta, finding better things to do; Marcia Strassman's change of looks (my husband says it's the worst makeover ever), and poor story lines.
