There was a planned 2008 Match Game revival in 2008 which would've been on TBS and they didn't go through with it, as many of you probably know on here. I've also been saying GSN should maybe pick up a revival of Match Game so, I voted for Match Game.

Hollywood Squares would be another good one but I don't really think GSN would really want to do that. If they did, good for them but I am just saying. I would be afraid if GSN did revive any of the game shows you mentioned above, it could be a bomb but, I guess I would try to think on the bright side of things.

I really think the block scheduling has to go and GSN should develop new original game shows and put each game show on weekly. Like for example, The $100,000 Pyramid could be on Mondays with some other game shows to stay on Mondays to, if you know what I mean. Sorry if this is off-topic but I think that could be a good idea like what other networks do.

Unless though, that's not in GSN's budget for some reason.

Match Game, and as Coatesy would say, "No two ways about it!"

but what if GSN's Match Game was still a stinker just like the Ross Shafer & Michael Burger versions?

I don't know if any of these would work for GSN, honestly. Match Game was really a product of its time, and I think any revival would be bound to fail. I also don't think Tattletales would work with the way the celebrity culture is now. And GSN probably couldn't afford good enough celebrities for Hollywood Squares. As far as the panel shows go, the 2006 I've Got A Secret got good ratings but was deemed "too expensive", while Late Night Liars was a flop (and also expensive), so I don't think that's the best route for GSN to go.

I guess Win, Lose, or Draw might be the best bet out of these, since the format is pretty timeless, they might not need really big names in order for it to work, and they'll only have to worry about celebrity players and not other guests like on the panel shows. But I think any celebrity-based game show might be risky for GSN due to the expense of getting celebrities, as well as the possible difficulty getting celebrities that people have actually heard of AND who can play the game decently. This is why I'm even wondering if Pyramid is the best show for GSN to revive.

I would want GSN to revive Match Game. It could be a good show for GSN to survive, and celebrities that don't come at an expensive price. Plus, when talking about giving out money, it's very affordable.
